1. Players on Day 1 will play 12 levels and those remaining will make day 2.

2. Players who bust Day 1's have the option to re-enter into future Day 1's

3. Player who make Day 2 also have the option to re-enter into future Day 1's without forfeiting their original chipstack i.e. to 'merge their stack'. For example, Mr Smith makes it through to Day 2 via Online Day 1a but with a shortstack of 40,000 - 10 BB's , so he plays Day 1b live at the Club and makes Day 2 with 240,000 chips, he will then start Sunday Day 2 with a starting stack of 280,000 chips, if he was unsuccessful in any future Day 1's he will start with 40,000 chips

4. There will be double flight on Saturday 1.00pm and 5.00pm for the benefit of travelling players

I am probably going to make a run at this, will be aiming to get two tickets to allow for an early bust Saturday and a second flight attempt.

Assuming I turn up Saturday with 2 tickets, and do not use the second one as I get through on flight 1, I assume I can hold my token for another attempt another month?

Not sure they do that any more as you have the option to merge stacks - therefore late reg the second flight or see your second bullet expire I think??

Going to try satellite for this 1time then try club live sat if running, really wana play this one :)

You can re-enter into future Day 1 flights so on the Sat 7th you can play at 1pm and then at 5pm if you don't make Day 2 at 1pm.

All tokens must be used for this event as you have the choice to play again to merge stacks even if you make Day 2.

- We don't expect to get many duplicate satellite winners because we have changed the format of the online sats so we only run 1 mega sat per week, instead of running 3-5 seats daily, therefore reducing the chances of multiple tokens being won. There will be a £5 cheap seat option for 1 seat a night, but I definitely expect duplicate winners to reduce.

- This is our first £300 for 4-5 Months, so I am hoping it gets some good support and we can get back to business as usual

I think dtd have got the build up to this £300 deep stack wrong......... with only a few weeks left before it kicks off there should be more mega satalites for this torney not less!!!  when you consider that previous deep stacks have been made up with over 50% satellite winners, this set up is not going to generate many at all??  unless of course there is going to be 50+ seat per night on the week running up to it?? thoughts please

"No, the reason that players have given me for + 1RE on the Live Day 1's (or second flights) is because they have travelled, got unlucky (hmmm:)) and want to take another shot because they have incurred travel/hotel expenses, which is is not the case online. Plus when you do +1RE online, the player does not change seats, therefore his not a new player, thats more of a 'second chance'. I believe ipoker are working on giving a re-entry player  a new seat, until then, it is not worth considering. Cheers Simon"

Ok I need some advice; I've won a token for the £300 Deepstack and don't know whether to play my Day 1 Live or Online, now:
In the £50 Mini DS I played 3 Day 1s and got through on 2 of those (only just missing out on the 3rd) and played 1 live Day 1 which I did terrible in - basically, I think I have a better chance of getting through online HOWEVER: I thoroughly enjoy playing live much more than online, I find it easier to build a stack online, but maintaining it and going into the later stages of a day 2 I can do fine live. Should I enjoy the live experience and take my chances? Or potentially miss out going live but potentially have a better chance of cashing online? Thanks.

Why not play both? If you win 2 satellite seats you can play the online Day 1 get yourself a nice stack and then re-enter into the live Day 1 to add to it :)

personally I love the 8.45 starting time, perfect time for satellites for me.

prefer 8 PM mega sats! they usually finish abt 12/ 12:30 and easy for people to go for work early!

the earlier the better for most - especially for working people, who can still attempt a satellite and still have a decent sleep before the grind of working!!  the vast majority of recreational players get up for work early so this would encourage a larger volume to play online!!

hi, noticed the Friday £300 deepstack has changed starting time to 5pm from 7pm, surely more people want it to start at 7pm? There was a vote at the last one and i'm sure the 7pm got majority?

That was for the Mini Deepstacks. We play 12 x 40 min levels for the £300, 9 hours + - so hard to start Friday much after 5pm, could prob stretch to 6pm in future if players really want , but this one is defo 5pm. Just posted this on FB, as had a few other queries on start times.

with very generous late entry opportunities, a 5pm start is not really a problem in my mind and the torney still finishes at a time which allows players to sleep lol.

May I just confirm whether, if I buy in through the DTD shop, I have to get to the club early to register again?

A...er...friend of mine might - might - have had a bit of a girly tantrum outside at the Sky event a few weeks back when I they had to join an alternate list.

Am I correct in thinking that you can play various days and start day 2 with all your stacks. ? If so, what happened to poker where everyone starts on a level playing field...

it wud be nice to play an old fashioned game of poker where u turn up you pays ur monies and you takes your chances.  Think these merged stacks and re entries etc defo benefit bigger rolled players but if they generate bigger prizes I guess there here to stay.

Yes you will need to let the cash desk know when you arrive - we do this so that players who pre reg/win satellites also have the option to late reg and not lose blinds.

the satellite set up for these are really awful!!!  You cannot register for the next satellite EVEN when you are out of the previous one!!! Say you have reg for 7 PM £10 satellite and you are out in 30 minutes, they system doesnt allow you to register for the 7:45 satellite until the 7 PM satellite is completed... this needs to be sorted imo...

+1....ridiculous set up.  Needs to get sorted asap.

Yes we all agree with this its crazy, we are told its a bug and it will get fixed as and when unfortunately its not a top priority at ipoker.
What we will do is change the structure to ensure the 2nd comp doesnt run before the other is finished.

yes im sure u can use the token to rebuy into sat night if u bust. however, if you don't reload, then you lose it, so u might aswell play Friday and Saturday in my opinion!

14 levels = 7hrs so add that to start time and then plus some breaks...

Yes there is a late reg tank so if you have a 2nd token and use it for re-entry you can still use the token

I also suggest thos payers with 2 tokens to try both flights as we no longer refund unused tokens

Don't think it could have been made clearer, many times it has been said that because of merging stacks and the fact there is online and live day 1s there is no excuse not to play ur tokens and all seats/tokens won will contribute to the prizepool.

DTD's stance on this matter really could not have been any clearer.

At every juncture on just about every thread that this topic has been queried, either Nicola, Simon, Nick or Glenn has been on hand to reinforce this point.

Kinda strange there's been no reply to this !??.

So far as I have seen, there has been no announcement of whether there will be another deepstack or, if there will, when it will be. There's absolutely nothing wrong with DTD saying deciding not to run another deepstack. There's also nothing wrong with DTD deciding it will definitely run them in the future but it has other priorities right now, so will sort one out maybe towards the end of the year. It doesn't HAVE to announce anything.

I don't understand the issue to be completely honest. I recognise that you wanted to transfer the seat you won to another comp, but there should never be a guarantee that you are allowed to do that. It can only be at the club's discretion. You did, after all, play in a satellite against plenty of people who DID want to play last weekend and your fortune/skill was bad luck for one person who not only couldn't play but that, if you had your way, there would be an unfilled spot in last weekend's comp. Whilst you may well have had perfectly legitimate reasons for wanting to transfer, when there isn't another comp to transfer it to, it isn't your decision and it is tough to argue your case persuasively.

This chip being live til November is almost certainly a software thing as they've allowed transfers in the past where they have decided to exercisetheir discretion. Doesn't change anything.

Maybe try emailing DTD directly and seeing whether a solution can be found. Hope it can.

The option to not use the token and hope for a £300 to be run in October/before Nov 6th was there. The advice given was to play it.

The mega sats that DTD offer are designed to fill the upcoming tournament and it's really not in their interest to have the seat saved for a future event.

This was a set up error and next months October £300 tokens will expire on the Saturday.

I hope you get a chance to use it in October
