It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader. Along with two annual conferences -- the TED Conference on the West Coast each spring, and the TEDGlobal conference in Edinburgh UK each summer -- TED includes the award-winning TED Talks video site, the Open Translation Project and TED Conversations, the inspiring TED Fellows and TEDx programs, and the annual TED Prize. Basically just lots of short lectures (between 5-20 mins) on a vast range of topics. Some motivational, thought provoking, typical lectures. You name it, they are on there. Definitely worth a look Title: Re: The TED Thread Post by: Tal on July 31, 2013, 04:11:09 PM So it's basically Tikay's diary?

Some threads from Blink made applicable (loosely) to the conference theme - Customer Service/Customer Experience.
