Opted not to raise pre, flopped top pair and a decent kicker given that villain only limped in

Bet more on turn and check fold river?

Fold now?

general thoughts on all aspects welcomed

well I guess without further info betting until you get raised seems an ok policy. Don't think river is a difficult fold tho, its very easy against the type of players who would typically limp the button

Probably check/call a modest bet check/fold to a large bet. Betting 2k is ok but this guy has been relatively normal for the past 126 hands, whilst a touch loose pre his stats aren't indicative of a massive fish or anything. Do you have any reads/notes? I think its hard to get called by much worse and we may get more from draws missing. As played I don't know how he has got there but he has. I don't mind the check pre, in some fields I'd raise lots others I'd check. I'd be very confident that raising here is profitable in this tournament. Probably 3.8x or so.
