Post by: dreenie on August 13, 2013, 04:04:18 AM Cash games run midday all round central. They are 24hr non stop degenerates, If u staying up there overnight I recommend rocking up at 6/7am and playing through, u tend to catch all the degens looking to get out of it or who have been on a 48 hr poker binge.
Prefer hippodrome from 5am+ then Vic mid afternoon to evening onwards myself. Title: Re: Cash games @ London - Midweek daytime. Post by: ralph cifaretto on August 15, 2013, 01:11:49 AM on a kind of related note i had a question about playing poker in the usa

As I found out recently though you can't just leave for a short period and come back and certainly not to the Caribbean, Mexico or Canada. If they think you are trying to take advantage of their rules they will very likely deport you and that is a very big headache. At the very best you will end up in a US immigration holding area for 12+ hours as happened to me and have to go through secondary immigration checks for the rest of your life. I made a very minor digression and they were very close to deporting me and it took 14 hours to sort out and nearly meant I would have been unable to visit my 6 month old daughter. Don't mess with US immigration is the moral of the story!!! Title: Re: Cash games @ London - Midweek daytime. Post by: ralph cifaretto on August 15, 2013, 01:36:25 PM cheers guys

Post by: Longines on August 15, 2013, 03:59:16 PM Can the OP not apply for a B2 visitor visa and stay for 6 months rather than the 3 months under the visa waiver program? Granted he'll need to attend an interview for the visa application and explain why he needs a *really* long holiday but it looks doable. Can even be extended by another 6 months apparently.
