Just got a random spam email:

The click here bit is a link in the email, and goes somewhere I suspect you are going to regret visiting.

Where did the spammers get my details? Anyone else get this email? Has my laptop been hacked?

What makes you think your laptop has been hacked?

If you have antivirus then run a scan. I presume they got your username correct?

They can only have got my correct nickname, my correct name, and the fact I play on iPoker from one of 3 places- they've got a leak in iPoker, they've got a leak in the skin (DTD) or they have installed a keylogger on my laptop. I am running anti-virus, but nothing's perfect.

Just got the same email again just now.

I got this email too.  Insta delete.

Would be great if someone could look into it though...

Yes, quite a few folks have reported the same thing.

Guys we are working with ipoker and our data warehouse to ensure player data is secure.

I've sent the thread and copy of an email to Nicola, in case DTD haven't seen it (I am sure they have heard about it though)

I also received the same e-mail offering a 2000% deposit bonus.

I've had about 10 emails with this text today so far. It's a DTD related issue as they only use the username I use there. Nothing from my other iPoker skins.

I got about 6 emails.. got to know 6 real names along with their screen names... Defo a security breach!!!

I got 3 emails all saying the same thing - had correct email/name/DTD ID

had the same   definitely Limted to DTD  as all so far quoting DTD screen name

Oh shit yeh.  Just checked my spam folder.  Got 8 emails with my correct username and real name.

it's not as if the government or the military/nasa can keep their shit secure and they invented this why do we presume that any old mailing list will be 100% secure forever.  it's not the security rather the response that I will judge dtd on here.

I expect to be able to express my opinion without you acting like a dick, I suppose that is online stuff though.

I have received this email over 20 times today. First one was someone else's name and alias. All of the subsequent ones show my name and DTD alias!

Clearly bonde needed to hire this hacker to send out emails - seems more have been sent out in this than BP in 8 years ;)

Also in this exclusive non-exclusive club received email 8 times from 3 different email addresses

Late last night (Thursday 29 August) we discovered an intrusion into one of our marketing mailers, on investigation we found that a mailing list that was being readied for a news Item had been compromised.

The data held in the mailing list comprised Name/email/poker nickname only.

We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience caused we know its highly annoying to receive these emails and recommend all emails from the sender are ignored and deleted.

Interestingly, I tried to unsubscribe from Dtd email lists recently, not because I don't want poker ones, but because I'm fed up of online casino ones. Neither attempt has stopped the emails fwiw
