Title: Hippodrome
Post by: pleno1 on September 08, 2013, 10:15:27 AM
It's Saturday night probably 1am the biggest game they have is a 1/2 "deepstack" I plonk down and sit with 1k.

Table is pretty serious, hoodies and younger guys

The 5 straddle is on and older guy wearing hoodie and beats opens to 15. I saw him previously fold AA on Q23j5hxxhh when he bet 50 otr and guy min raised to 100. He has around 800

We're 6 handed and he opened utg from the straddle. I peel button with Kd 6d and bb and straddle peel.

Flop (65ish) 4c 3d 2c

Checked to him and he bets 47, I peel others fold

Turn (158) kh

He bets 76 I call

River (310) 8h

He bets 186

I don't really see people triple barreling bluff here nor aloe bet thinly either.

Anybody finds a fold?

I cant think what he would be going for thin value with... Obviously this is a super duper snap call loving life if we can legitimately beat some value bets (which id imagine we can)
I'd call getting a good enough price and it seems like the best thing to do.

Never raise the flop? you got all the sets/both straights so he needs a sick hand to 3bet the flop with this deep,, quite a few good turn cards and you can put pretty much most of his range in a coffin by the river, if he were to 3bet the flop we have a gutshot and K high so have no qualms folding it.
