Title: Google error - Automated queries. Post by: millidonk on September 20, 2013, 08:11:06 AM Can't search on google..
(http://www.clickfire.com/viewpoints/wp-content/uploads/google-error-updated-525x438.jpg) That is not my screenshot btw as i'm not an IE using fish, but it depicts my problem quite thoroughly. Have downloaded hijack this which reports no issues as does my own virus software. Any geeks out there with any ideas? Boshi? Unfortunately I am able to use Bing. *puke.gif Title: Re: Google error - Automated queries. Post by: kinboshi on September 20, 2013, 10:51:12 AM I've seen that message before, sometimes when I've been using automated scripts to carry out lots of searches on google for a range of phrases (something I shouldn't have been doing). Google spots a flood of requests and then blocks your IP.
Sometimes, it can be because someone on a similar IP (part of an IP range) has made too many requests in a short space of time, and you've been blocked as part of the collateral damage. Sometimes it might be a website or program on your comp doing the requests, possibly a malicious program that has infected your comp. The short-term fix is to use Bing. You can also try using a different Google site (try google.ie for example) and see if it lets you search on there. Title: Re: Google error - Automated queries. Basically we all have nodes on our roof which link to a master node which has the infeed from wherever. From what I gather we have one IP per master node and all the others have individual IPs or something. Not totally sure but I know when they went on holiday and switched all their electrics off our internet went down! Can't get hold of him to sort it out as he is at work.. all very unprofessional but it's the only solution, an expensive one at that. on another note google.ie gives the same error but bing works fine. Although I still hate it. Title: Re: Google error - Automated queries. "Do any other Dendrophiliacs have problems with splinters or magpies?" Apparently so.... Quote I figured, hey, I’ll try anything once. And who knows? Maybe this new guy will grow on me. And we can grow together. It doesn’t always have to be fireworks and tsunamis of passion from the get-go, right? It had to be one step above internet dating, right? Instead of immediately giving up the goods and having sex with a partner that would likely leave splinters lodged into my thighs and abrasions in my nether region, I decided to take things slow with my potential life partner. I really wanted to get to know him first. I selected the large sycamore that lives outside my bedroom window, even though the redwood across the fence was my first choice. And although I know from experience that dating a neighbor isn’t always the best idea, the sycamore and I have known each other for about eight years. I figure this is a good basis for something healthy and solid. Title: Re: Google error - Automated queries. Post by: millidonk on September 20, 2013, 02:59:18 PM hahaha amazing. If that's legit then just wow and if you have just come up with it then I am lost for words. Incred work either way.

Post by: millidonk on September 20, 2013, 03:48:13 PM GO BIG, GO REDWOOD: AN ARBOR DAY LOVE STORY.
Despite my deep desire to really feel a connection to my environment, I like to remember myself as being fairly well adjusted and levelheaded during those days. I’m still an adventurous spirit. And I’d still like a stable, reciprocal relationship based on mutual respect and common dreams. Also, low expectations, no pressure to meet family members (and hence no worrying about their disapproval), no dirty socks strewn about, no screaming matches late at night, it all held the appeal and temptation of an exotic, no-strings-attached love affair. With a tree, wow, it's written by a woman (Dani Burlison) and seems legit. great find, thought I was a little out there.. Title: Re: Google error - Automated queries.
