Title: TDA Ruling Plz
Post by: jjandellis on October 01, 2013, 11:22:14 PM
Our local cardroom have implemented TDA rules but I'm after one clarifying.

The cardroom are stating that u can be punished for folding out of turn but NOT for betting out of turn. They are saying bet stands if the 'non sinner' checks...but if the action changes then 'the sinner' has options!

Is this correct?

Are ukipt/ept using these rules?

If someone acts out of turn then they are bound to that action unless action changes. If action does change they have all options open to them. Action changing means either betting being opened or a raise.

TDA rules state that a fold out of turn is always binding, despite whatever action may take place.

They're probably targeting folding out of turn as that's the one that is usually done on purpose. Often cards get dealt, a quick look, they're crap, i'm off for a cig, that kind of thing. I would imagine this is the intent rather than saying acting out of turn is ok?
