Title: Can I move my music from iphone/ipod to a new android device? Post by: Karabiner on October 06, 2013, 12:29:42 AM From my basic research it seems difficult at least.
This is not music purchased from itunes just my CD collection uploaded via my PC onto my ipod/iphone via itunes. I did try and drag/drop from "my music" on my PC to the "music" file on my new HTC 'phone but the files just disappeared. ;technophobe; Title: Re: Can I move my music from iphone/ipod to a new android device? Once in Google play music can be accessed via WiFi/3g or downloaded onto phone.

They have a clever strategy where they let you synch 100 tunes free so you get how simple it is and how well it works but if you want more you have to pay a £2.25 fee, cunning buggers. Anyhow I now have 1000+ tunes safely installed just in case I get sat in between Ade and Frankie ;) <edit> PS The great thing about the £2.25 purchase of the "pro" version was that it had a fifteen minute "cooling-off" period during which you can change your mind and have your money back, but it took about twenty minutes to transfer all of the music into my phone. |
