Glad you got rid of the stack merge idea. Not good IMO. What happened to the tried and tested straight up freeze out's. no re entry, no frills.

This is substantially back to basics, no merge stacks. Re-entry is here to stay though. DTD started it and its now present across the market

Hi Guys

Satellites were due to start today but we didn't give iPoker enough notice for todays and looks like they won't be up in time :(

We have 20 seats GTD from tomorrow though and if you win 2 x £168 Tokens we'll allow you to swap for a £336 for the next Deepstack.

Due to very popular demand we have brought back the Feeder 30 day token expiry and Event tokens 60 day expiry to give you much more flexibility - we are hoping to keep the £150 and £300's a regular events so please show your support.

Make sure you sign up via the Member's Area to earn FREE tokens in the Online Club Cash Games - full details - http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/dtd-tokens.php

Cheers Nicola

Ahem. we did this for 12 months. We changed to 'All Freezouts'.

What happenned? We got less players travelling to our tourmies, moans and groans fron players who bust out - and more overlays.

What do we do? Ultimatey players decide by their footfall what formats the Club puts on.

Re-entry makes sense on so many levels, who cares if a player gets their starting stack (now below average) again? More money into the prizepool has to always be the end goal for sustaining these tournies... If someone wants to take 3-4 bullets in the massively likely scenario they'll lose overall then good luck to them

Think people accept re entries. They obv help to boost prizepools which can only be a good thing. I personally just disliked the merging of stacks concept as people with deeper pockets obv had a greater chance to effectively buy a big stack.   Maybe introduce something similar without merging stacks. Play as many day1s as u like but only ur biggest stack goes thru. If u qualify with a small stack u can try again and if u don't improve u can still progress with the small stack cos u wouldn't have forfeited it.  Just a thought....

I personally think a compromise between re-entry and merging is the way forward.

Let people play as many times as they want to but only take their biggest stack through.

I just see this listed as £150 tourney with no reg. fee.

Is this a different format or have I missed something?

40 mins through is awesome and really liking the 12 levels on Day 1 instead of 15. Structure really really works. Gets more people back for Day 2 also playing the side comps.
I hope the 12 level day 1 format stays as a norm.

Good luck everyone this weekend.

Today currently has 57 runners needing 220 plus. Very low number, even allowing for competing events. A head scratcher

Anyway late registration is til very late, so with low runners, massive value and a 40 minute clock, if you can get to DTD it will be worth your while

Keep in touch with the comp at http://www.dusktilldawncasinonottingham.com/result-info.php?id=3723
