Unless we have notes that the villain is opening EP wider than normal and cant fold some Ax's then I probably just check behind. Not sure that we get AK to fold / AQ to call enough.

Maybe if you don't really ever think your getting looked up by worse it is just better to bet 30%-40% and try and get called by his Ax or hero called by worse? Seems like getting him to fold AK sometimes and calling with AQ a small amount of the time is outweighed by the times he has AT/AJ/Q9s/KQ/TJ etc and you lose way more than by betting 1/3 or 40% pot or whatever. Assume he will keep betting hands that beat us with the unlikely chance of q9s that he will play different pre. |
