Hi all,

I am off to Vegas on Wednesday for 10 days with some reprobates from APAT who occasionally post on here as well. I want to play the following tournaments whilst over there and am looking to shift some action to give blondes a sweat. I am selling at 1.0 after stakeback, and am selling up to 50%. I will provide updates after every tournament in this thread and via Twitter (sharpleaUK).

I am also selling this on Facebook.

The tournaments are as follows:

2pm, Friday 8th November 2013 - Binion's daily tournament, 20,000 chips/20 min blinds - $80
2pm, Saturday 9th November 2013 - APAT North American Poker Championship, 15,000 chips/45 min blinds (TBC) - $135
1pm, Tuesday 12th November 2013 - Aria's daily tournament, 10,000 chips/30 min blinds - $250 ($125 + 1 optional re-entry)
1pm, Wednesday 13th November 2013 - Aria's daily tournament, 10,000 chips/30 min blinds - $250 ($125 + 1 optional re-entry)
7pm, Friday 15th November 2013 - Orleans weekly special, 12,500 chips/20 min blinds - $250 ($125 + 1 optional re-entry)

Total: $965

5% - $48.25 (£30.30)
10% - $96.50 (£60.60)

Bank preferred before Wednesday 8am (I fly 9am Weds). Will take Stars or if you are going out there/know someone who is joining us then cash in Vegas will never be turned down! Locking in the current xe.com exchange rate of 1.5926 now. All refunds will be made at that rate.

As always, playing these tournaments will depend on how I am feeling at the time. If I am not feeling great, or morale is low, or I get dragged to a strip joint etc (this is possible, Dan Owston, Eck, Mole and The Duke are part of this group) then I won't play and will be refunding the stakes for that tournament when I get back from Vegas. I also reserve the right to change the daily tournaments if plans change (the APAT comp is definitely getting played, as is Orleans as everyone else will have gone by then, I fly the day after everyone else). All unused re-entries will be refunded.

Brutal honesty shows that this is a punt on a blonde who is going out to Vegas. I do have a slight advantage in that I can honestly say that I will be sober in all of these tourneys - but some might see that as a disadvantage :)

On the schedule, my experience is the Binions Daily is a two table affair apart from Saturday and sometimes Sunday, mainly because Saturday has a Gtd prizepool. I've not been since March so it might have changed.
The Orleans one is definitely the nut one for Friday punters.

Bust binions 18/51 with 6 paid. I think I played a bit too aggressive, or the Americans call light!

APAT tomorrow is now $235, we only found out today. Basically it is the Caesars regular tourney under an APAT badge, so it is now a one dayer with the Caesars structure. I don't rate the structure at all and it is not worth $235 so I am going to give this a miss and refund investors on my return.

You didn't fancy Binions Saturday tourny instead of APAT?

What was wrong with the structure? If it's the one posted on apat, it looked fairly decent?

The structure was not the one on APAT. It was the regular Caesars structure.

Tomorrow we are off to Aria. Reports from friends who have played this say that it is a very good tournament, so am up for this big time.

The Aria is my favourite daily NLHE tourny when I'm in Vegas, enjoy! (and a win would be cool too) :D

We did a cash though, finishing 6th for $707 (I tipped the change so we took home $700) and did not re-enter.

On the other hand - we did not re-enter either. +$125 to the kitty.

Off to the Orleans now for the last comp. Nice to be freerolling but want to top this trip off with a monster.

Oh, can all investors ping me bank details for returns please? I am hoping to get these out before I leave so I don't have to worry about changing up dollars when I get back!

Obv now we will win and I'll have to change up loads.

Unfortunately we did not win at Orleans - busted 28th with 20 paid when I shoved Aspades Js into Ad Kd when short.

However, we did not re-enter. So, the final returns are as follows:

APAT - Did not play - $135
Aria Tuesday - 6th place - $700
Aria Wednesday - Did not re-enter - $125
Orleans - Did not re-enter - $125

TOTAL - $1085.

Therefore 10% = $108.50 and 5% = $54.25. In proper currency this equates to £68.12 and £34.06 respectively.

Sorry it wasn't more but we just ran bad at the most inopportune times! (Best example was tonight getting QQ x4 and AA x2 and losing all 6 hands to shortstacks doubling up!)
