Obv could nit fold the turn as the ace hits you so dont mind the call and solid fold otr imo

i think 2.5x in the CO is fine especially vs weak buttons which most of the players at 50nl will be. Def agree on $2-$2.25 otf tho, tourney fish init

Why are we calling the raise on flop and calling turn if we're folding river?

Hoping he gives up river I imagine.
 

He only really ever has 44 or 88 that beats us and even then I can't see too many people check raising a set on a flop that dry as they are just going to kill their action so often. Unless he knows you are coming along for the ride regardless? Readless I just can't see me folding tbh, we beat too much.

would be the bottom of my calling range otr, and as with most of the bottom of your range its usually not a nice-easy call. if he was c raising some kind of bdfd or something funy then the A gives him perhaps the perceived chance of going a little bit lairy.

He also called from the sb so may not even have 44 or jt in his range, both are folds pre imo, but obv its 50nl.

Think its a good fold. I played a fair bit of 50nl zoom earlier this year and villains will never be folding any pocket pair pre here to a single raise. As Pleno says its the bottom of your river calling range but they show up with bottom/middle set so much here, unless you have history or particular read on villain then fold is probably good. Although doubt I ever fold in game as I am a river station.

hmmm I think youd be surprised, I know about 15 guys who play nl50 (lol sample size obv) and abotu 10 of them follow a chart pre flop, which will almost certainly say fold 44, jt pre flop.

idk how big the player pool is but on smaller sites where regs are in this spot 10 times a day evey day v each other i like a call early on. Some ppl cr sets on dry boards, some dont (think dont is muuuuch better).

Really tough spot imho... kinda like a call some %.. fold some %.

Might 'harrington' it and if I look at my watch and see the second hand at 1-20 I call... 21-60 I fold.
