Title: He Just Flats... Post by: jjandellis on November 28, 2013, 01:14:20 AM Deep in $11 tourney, sitting 5/48
Wasn't at all worried about the shortie, but only 17 hands on flatter...and he plays 17/0/0 (ridic sample I know) http://www.handconverter.com/hands/2367211 (http://www.handconverter.com/hands/2367211) Flatters OPR: http://www.officialpokerrankings.com/pokerstars/alexkit13/poker/statistics/02BF043B583349EF825AE580D88B3EBB.html?t=8 (http://www.officialpokerrankings.com/pokerstars/alexkit13/poker/statistics/02BF043B583349EF825AE580D88B3EBB.html?t=8) We should???? What you expecting him to flat with? Title: Re: He Just Flats... Post by: lucky_scrote on November 28, 2013, 11:18:51 AM I think I pretty much always just peel here. Unless villain is dreadful and you know he's going to call a 4bet reallllllly wide then you can make your 4bet really big and just jam flop
Prob just peel with no history and given stacks. If you have like 35 bigs you could also knock it in. Title: Re: He Just Flats... Post by: OverTheBorder on November 28, 2013, 11:56:16 AM If he is good, odds are he is flatting to enduce
I flat, check down most run outs, hate life if he bets an A board Title: Re: He Just Flats... Post by: lucky_scrote on November 28, 2013, 12:10:22 PM Nah nobody good flats to induce unless OR is ballistic. Problem with flatting and trying to tarp is most of the time the OR is peeling (because he doesn't have to fold any of his opening range because of good odds) so you end up with an empty side pot. Why would you want that?
Title: Re: He Just Flats... Post by: OverTheBorder on November 28, 2013, 12:17:52 PM May be just a small sample but whenever I raise in this spot, flatter seems to be huge
What range would you assign him? What would you do on A xx rainbow flop? I find these spots interesting |
