Slipwater and I are doing a 24 hour session on the 14th December to raise money for Cancer research on Sky poker. It is for a great cause, if any would like to sponsor us it would be greatly appreciated. It's taking place on Sat 14th Decemer starting at 11am. I'll make a post on the day to provide updates. Over £536 raised so far, which is really amazing, a big thanks to all who have donated. Many players are on here as well as the Skyforum, so thanks to everyone. I will not post on here again, except to post a link to the thread for the day of the challenge. If anyone else would like to donate, it would really help to get up to the £1000 target. Thanks Paul and Tikay. Delighted so much money was raised for such a good cause. At the start would have been delighted with £500, to break £1000, over £1200 with tax relief, was a phenomenal success. There was great banter, support and railing at the tables. It was great to see the day so well supported. Hut a bit of a wall after 11hours, got better again, then hut another wall about 5 am when everyone was going to bed. Delighted it has raised a good amount for charity, but wouldn't be in a rush to play for 24 hours again! |
