Title: Terrible River
Post by: shipitgood on December 03, 2013, 11:34:36 PM
6 handed game, I'm utg with  Kc Ks

10nl, I raise to 50p, bigger than usual, but there's 1 player at the table likes to see every flop, possibly could go a bit more.

UTG plus 1 calls, big blind calls. I have 22.97, bb has 23, utg plus 1 has £12.

Flop  6s 5s 8d

Bb checks, I bet 1.16 3/4 pot. Call call.

Turn is  Kh, I bet £2.52, half pot, I know it's pretty bad I should have bet probably about £3.80 - £4 (pots about a fiver)

UTG plus 1 folds, bb calls.

The river,  4s, bb donk bets half pot, I fold.

Reads; been playing at the table for over an hour with opponent, never clashed before, from what I could see he was pretty tight. I think it's an easy fold. Any shout for calling this? Maybe  a better turn size bet would have taken it down there and then, but I doubt he'd fold hish flush / straight draw.

If UTG+1 was tight, and he flats your massive UTG raise, its hard to imagine many 7's that are in his range (77 and A7).    Probably has spades but I think he has to show me them cause I'm the worst!
