Hi,

I will be going to Prague next week and would like to get euros somehow. I am not sure how to do this. Between me and some friends we would like around 50k in euros, but anything from 1k plus would be helpful.


We can do pokerstars, moneybookers, neteller or bank transfer.

Anybody?

Surely for about 50k you'll be able to get spot through normal money traders?

I actually counted up my change jar last night and found a load of euros in there.  This lot any good to you?  Think theres in the region of 25 euros!!!!!

Its difficult because were mostly American and preferable way of transferring is going to be stars or moneybookers.

if you want 50k I can give you the people to do it will get you about 1/2 a point of XE rate.

also the currency in prague is koruna not euro

Also tip for anyone going is that for the cash games you can change EUR to CZK and back from CZK to EUR at the same rate at the Andels casino.  Not sure about the Hilton where EPT is held tho. Thankfully I read about that before getting tonnes of CZK  and would advise people on doing the same.

apparently all the cash games at hilton are going to be in euros an the buy in for the ept events are all in euros.

Do what I did last year turn up with a load of euros when you need kronenbourgs or whatever ,either way pokerstars do currency exchange in the hilton at a very good rate

Pete Far as I know they changed them all ,different currencies in the hilton ,you could cash chips out and get it back in any currency , I couldn't work it out or can't remember but several people said it was a good fair rate

so basically just take my £s an do it all there !

yeah u r spot on m8. Great facilities to transfer money back an forth from  strerling krona an euros at good rates so its even better than swapping as you can get ur £ back if u can make sure u don't loose on the trip !
