I am making this thread because I have had some recent success in tournaments pinging a 4th in the €250 FCOOP for €26k, an outright win in the Monday Night on Stars €10 cubed for €7k and a deep run eventually ending in an 11th in the £1k 6max UKIPT so I'm feeling very confident about my tournament game at the minute.

Tomorrow I will be playing a schedule of small buy-in tournaments (and punting at the WU and Mil, weeeee) with 100% of my action, but there are a few tournaments in this Super XL series which I want to play but can't justify with the strict BR management which I am applying due to life things atm.

Financials

I am looking to retain 25% of my action with the investors putting up 100% of the stake so each 10% will be worth 7.5% of equity.

The reason I am so desperate to play these tournaments is because they have pretty good slow structures (except for the turbo, but even that has a way deeper structure than normal turbos which benefits my playing style) and massive prize pools. I am reluctant to offer a package like this in such incredible value tournaments but with Christmas and a move to London coming up in March I am trying to be as strict as I can with my bankroll.

The buyins come to $960 thus:

5% = $48
10% = $96
50% = $480

Just want to say as much as you are a hero and prob have lots on and that would of been nice to pop on and tell the investors how you were getting/got on out of respect rather than just getting an update from someone else saying you bricked everything not expecting a full update just a quick:

I fully intended on posting a full report, I played a full schedule on Sunday so didn't get much of a chance to update and have just had a bad few days and the last thing I've wanted to do is re-live the carnage.

$215 turbo: We came 90th~ with 73 paid after calling a 10bb shove from the co with A7o in the BB and getting rivered by K9o. We were then down to 10bbs ourself once the blinds had gone through us etc and eventually shoved 66 and got called by A3 to be eliminated.

$215 super stack: at 125/250/25 with an active image I 3bet/called AKcc 10k effective lp vs mp and lost vs JJ, then shoved my last 5 bigs in with something that I can't remember (but I'm usually on the tighter side with these things, more in the "wait for it" camp than gamble and spin up".

$530 Main Event: We got off to a good start getting up to 25k early on but after a series of small pots and then not finding a spot we found ourselves with 10k at 400/800/100 and piled AK into KJ I think and bust.

Sorry again guys for the radio silence. This is out of character for me, and I do sincerely apologise.
