Standard.  I am not an avid West Brom watcher, but they were about the same place in the table I expected them to be.

Can't be purely football. Not like they've had a quiet week...

Can't say I'm sad.

Won't have to put up with the most boring interview on MOTS every week from now on.

Paid the price for some poor summer signings.

31 points in the last 34 league matches. Is it really that shocking?

They have played 34 Premier League games and scored 31 points. Since they were third in the heady days of 2012, they have played 41 Premier League games and they have only won nine of them.

Highest wage bill they have ever had as well

every Premier League team has their highest wage bill currently, its the new TV deal

that said, I gather he cooked his goose by enquiring about the Everton job in the summer, only for the WBA board to find out

Only needed one bad run......

Seen worse/more shocking sackings to be frank

Well in that case, he cannot expect any sympathy. If I were the WBA Chairman, I'd have been waiting for the right moment to do exactly what he just done.

I think it's fair game. Managers are very quick to get fucked over. Remember Alan irvine turning down the WBA job to stay at Preston. Showed some loyalty. 6 months later he's sacked

Have to say I thought it was harsh I'm sure given time WBA would have finished mid table
