Title: Re: Omaha zoom hand explanation please Post by: teamonkey on December 15, 2013, 10:03:26 PM 17c to win 80+dollars
even if he knew he was beat this has to be a call to get information imo the guy who folder was a supernove too, so i'm assuming (perhaps incorectly) that he uses some kind of HUD, and folding there is giving up a chance to get extra stats if nothing else Title: Re: Omaha zoom hand explanation please Post by: George2Loose on December 15, 2013, 10:07:06 PM Sick misclick?
Title: Re: Omaha zoom hand explanation please Post by: doubleup on December 15, 2013, 10:10:04 PM he's greek according to the lobby - isn't there some weird thing going on with greeks and tax if you win more than a certain amount you get a withholding tax?
He is obv giving money away - his bet is surely deliberately slightly less than the other guy has got? Title: Re: Omaha zoom hand explanation please Post by: SuuPRlim on December 16, 2013, 12:11:16 AM First assumption would be that it's some sort of silly chip dump. Not really sure HOW or WHY they'd be doing this this thing about greek holding tax seems semi logical, but surely putting someone in some tournament or just doing ANYTHING other than this would be better than delierately losing, maybe he's dumping chips because of that. WHO knows.
Second assumption is, he's completely airballing - he's 3bet PF (repping AA**) quite a wet board and the river hits his range as hard as anyones (he still bets the turn with AA a decent % of the time, the guy folds JT a decent % OTT) and he hasn't really looked at how much the guy has and can't call - I've seen this happen a few times before actuallly. As you say though, even with Q high you should just call the 17cents and see what you've been called down with (AT would be seem pretty locked on) but perhaps he feels very sure that he''s against AT (mayeb JT) and just doesn't want anyone to see his cards.??? Obviously, it's a very sillly hand.
