What on earth has happened to the wonderful game that is No Limit Texas Hold Em if people are now folding the third best pair hand less than 100bbs deep in a cash game :'( Fuck it, I'm off to play Omaha until my super stud game improves.

On a side note, I probably don't fold this hand, but I'm no longer sure if this is right or wrong? People's ranges do seem pretty ridic tight at this level for 4bing, especially readless... Would defo be interested to hear thoughts of tomsom (reg at these stakes) on this sort of thing. Probably continues to get battered like a cod in Frankie's chippy, I'll wager.

If its correct to fold qq then that means you should try and play 24/7 while the games are still good!

HUD stats are basically very important in this hand but its likely with his stack size he isn't te greatest but we don't know if that means he is too aggressive or too passive. For example if he's passive it's probably a fold and that's why huds are so important. Also I would either choose to play with 100 or 30 bbs 43.50 is abit of a weird amount to sit with nd. Difficult stack size t play unless you know how t play t really well.

Fwiw Texas there is a lot f times when its good to 4bet fold ak and similar hands pre flop but in all seriousness if games are so tight that you should fold qq pre flop you're in a very good game.

Couple of things:

it's zoom, not a ring game, and from what i've seen people only ever min raise 4 bet with AA KK.

Also i had $43.5, not 43.5BB, as i'm not a grinder, just a rec player, i'm not always playing optimally to make the most money etc etc, i just like to try to play right to maximise my rec time

If the guy had shipped it there i'd probably have called, but his 4 bet.........

These situations are why HoldemManager etc... were made for.
It's so statistically dependent. If you're a regular at these games and villain perceives your 3 bet range to be wide he can profitably 4 bet with your game mentality.
I don't think there's a right or wrong answer here to the information you have available to you.

PS: I'm NEVER Flatting the PFR unless given a good reason to when multi-way. E.g. villains behind with large 3/4 bet percentages etc...
