Title: 5/5/10 Live Cash Post by: FredW on December 18, 2013, 12:08:02 PM Played in the 5/5 cash game last night at Luton and a hand came with against Rob Yong that I thought I would post.
I'm in the compulsory £10 straddle and Rob opens in the CO to £50. BB peels playing ~£950. I raise to £200 with Ks Kh playing ~£3k and both peel. Rob's been pretty active pre all night but hasn't shown to be too OOL post. BB seems a bit splashy and on tilt after losing the majority of his stack a few hands before. Flop comes 5s 4h 3s. BB checks, I bet £300, Rob calls, BB goes all in for £735 total. WUD and whats the plan if Rob raises? Title: Re: 5/5/10 Live Cash Post by: SuuPRlim on December 18, 2013, 01:50:13 PM Go all-in, if Rob calls, it isn't THAT great as he'll have the odd 33, 46ss maybe even a slowplayed straight every so often but folding just isn't possible and calling and letting rob (who's preflop hands are wider than most people (lots of 56/suited hands) see a turn card for a great price is pretty bad as well, I mean you could call and hope Rob jams with TT/JJ hands but that is pretty optimistic, and besides it's Rob and he never gets dealt big pocket pairs lol .
Yup, all-in it is, semi-relieved when Rob folds and now you're in great shape vs this AI and a nice £300 overlay on the flop for you as well. If you been pretty active pre-flop going all-in is even better. Go all in as dave suggests Fred is playing £3k, and I'm pretty sure rob covers. Title: Re: 5/5/10 Live Cash Post by: PathFinder on December 18, 2013, 07:54:37 PM Ah mis-read stack sizes. Thought rob had £950. If Rob covers it's a little more difficult but becaus Rob is flatting between 2 players I think he has more draws than sets in his range... Actually I have no idea how rob plays but I as a population read people will tend to raise their sets/straights between 2 players here. Shove still seems good though, don't think I have a flatting range here other than 6s7s
