Flop the flush, i lead out for 3/4 pot, villian calls. I bet 1/2 pot on the turn, just noticed this, i should be betting about 80% pot. And he puts in a massive over raise £8.27 total leaving £7.26 behind. It gets calls from worse hands so gains us value which is the main function of the bet. It also has a secondary function that when he bombs us we know we are beat (given your read he is a but peddler).
I have only played a little bit on Sky but the line he has taken is super strong. I would say at worst he has a better flush and probably a full house.
