Cipriani is playing with Sale and there is talk that he might get back in the England squad in 2014. Not sure if he will be in the house?

I like Holyfield, the American thing always seems to be an issue, and I'm not sure the voting demographic will like him, then again he came across really well on the live show.

My attempts to get 4-1

Seconds after the Chompy post. Was already logged in but had to find market

Found market 4-1

Pressed button to load up Ryan 7-2

Comes up 11/4. decide to halve bet.

Bet placement confirmed. New market shows 9/4.

Whole process must have taken 30 seconds, and I must have acted seconds after Chompy suggested it, and can only have been 5 max(only about 20 on thread at time) doing the same.

What a shower Laddies are.

He is coming across really well, Jim is also doing ok but i think it is too much to ask for him to win.  Not sure what to do with my bet on Ollie, he is favourite now but he don't have much substance from what i've seen.

For some strange reason I felt quite uncomfortable with what he was doing. I just can't see why a man would treat a women like that, she certainly didn't help herself with the way she acted and spoke (particulary when drunk) but his sole aim seemed to be that he wanted to make sure she knew that he had a very large man member, of course It may be the fact that my daughter is only 4 and the thought of her being man handled and groped (when she is older) like what Dappy was doing is something that actually I'd rather not think about but I suppose as a father or even parents this is the sort of thing we have to prepare our children for, anyway looking at the whole incident in some sort of reality tv perspective, my wife decided that she wanted to see what all the fuss was about and google said images, let's just say I went to bed feeling very inadequate.

Dappy has got a big dippy.

I just took abit of 5/4 on Holyfield/Zissman going after their conversation last night - pretty sure 5/4 on a coin flip with "Big Dappy" and mad liz cant be bad.

That is some huge wanger. You are betting on how the public view the size of a mans penis essentially.

I remember when the Derby was on a Wednesday. If you had walked up to a hardened punters in the ring back then, and time warped him to this market I wonder what their reaction would be?

What will we be punting in 2033?

Lee Ryan is really annoying.
Ollie is really likeable and will probably win.

William Hill have not made a decision on what will happen to any bets placed on the 1st eviction market. Surely it has to be cancelled, if the market was formed now Lee and Casey would be odds on for the fake eviction, public would def want them alone to see what happened.

I'm sure WH will do the right thing.

Lee has obviously signed his own death warrant, he is either really thick or really horney, how could he think he would not get caught lying when he is being filmed 24hrs a day, tells Casey one thing and all the others something else!

Really disappointed about Holyfield's comments the other day, he is a real cool dude, especially when he was dancing and who knew that he called all 11 kids names that begun with E when Linda asked why he said "because I'm Evander" class. His comments mean I till be really difficult for him to get into the top 3. Looks like Sam will fly under the radar and probably make the top 3 by doing nothing. For me at the moment it's Ollie, Casey, Lionel and Sam making the top spots.

Really pleased that Jim is coming across as normal especially after all the bad publicity he gets, just think the Nolan has it in for him.

Before we do the full Eso and back him for eviction, are we sure he can be evicted?

Really was a shocking tip mate.  Right up there with Perri getting to the top of the 10 metre board, turning round and walking down the steps.

Is the a villian of the year comp we can transfer our stakes too?

Still think Dappy is gonna be there or there abouts come the final but is now 8/1 best compared to 28/1 best a couple of days ago. Sam it seems I was wrong about, however I think she's been a bit too dull up to yet. Same applies to Olly, although he's been slightly more interesting.

In order ATM I can see it being:

Olly
Dappy
Lionel
Sam
Jim
Evander
Jasmine

The others who knows! (Very possible Evander finals if he's not ruined his chances)!

Think that's why jim keeps walking away partly to shut people down but mostly so he don't say something stupid

yeah he was brought up and grew up in a different era when it was normal to make jokes about race/sex/disabilties etc etc its hard too go 40+ years
making jokes about the mother in law then all of a sudden its no longer politically correct to do so and you have to watch every thing you say
espically when your an off the cuff speaker/comedian

millions of people used to watch and enjoy his TV programs back in the 80's they aint all dead surely but nowadays
they are all slanging him off alot due to guilty of actually having like his act before the PC brigade stepped in

i remember an incident at a gig he was preforming at where seemingly he refused too go on with the front row all made up of wheelchair users
the press had a great time.

it was claimed he didnt want to look at disabled people as they would put him of his act, another report was is act was so full of jokes about disabled people he didnt want them on from row,
where he claimed he didnt want them on the front row as his act meant poking fun at people on the front row (like alot of comedians) and this would not work if the from row
was made up of the disabled

jims humour is from a different era but i dont think he is in same league as bernard mannings, i dont think he is a hater.

Jasmine is really spoiling for a fight with Casey, any excuse to have a go and Sam gave her the perfect opportunity last night, hope it happens more because it will endear the public to Casey and at 80-1 I want her in the top 3.

Can't work Jim out, he is doing his upmost to stay out of trouble by avoiding those that are pressing his buttons but I'm not sure he can last the whole three weeks without getting into a Barney, then who knows what he will say. He certainly must have had some solid advice going into the house. He has even admitted to Luisa he is not being himself.

Although Ollie and Sam are as boring as any two that have ever been in there, a love story between them that they fight against while they are in the house will probably work in their favour. Top 3 as far as I can see. Unless something drastic happens I can see Ollie price going odds on very soon. I've had a Little top up with betfair before it does.

Luisa is such a public school product.

Nick Nick and Oiley very close to flip-flopping at the top of the market, but Jim definitely has the potential to self-destruct.

Be good if he did tid though, could do without another safe winner off the back of Dull Sam. Biggest travesty in BB history that he took the last civvy series down ahead of Gina and Dex.

jim is now favourite to win on betfair and sky have him at 2/1 with ollie

Title: Re: Celebrity Big Brother
Post by: Omm on January 15, 2014, 06:44:08 AM
Jim's price is way to short, reading the forums and looking at the polls he shouldn't be favourite, forums are full of people calling him a wife beater and such like, polls have him in the pack. This could be a good thing from a betting perspective as Ollie's price is drifting, if it hits 3-1+ I think it will be a good bet.

Remember it's different this series, it's a vote to save not to evict, A vote to save changes things as it doesn't give the people that hate the best chance of getting rid of people, particularly as there are so many up each week, last vote I think Liz and Jim got 9 and 8 votes, Luisa got 2 or 3 and us still up for eviction, so she is actually popular in the house, by putting more people up it spreads the votes thinner hence the chance of haters dilutes. There is a big debate as to whether they should change back to vote to evict and most of the public want this. I think that when it gets to the business end Jim may not get as many votes as some of the others ( remember by his own admission he is not being himself). If that's the case Ollie should be the one to win, think it really now depends on the edit, giving Jim the power last night has helped him, it could very quickly have gone the other way. I'd rather have the 9/4 Ollie than the 2-1 Jim, it's just safer, Ollie will not cause trouble, Jim can blow any minute.

After all that cue Jim winning.........................

It's been vote to save for donkeys' years now hasn't it?

quite possibly, im only going by what i have read in the current big brother forums which have a poll on vote to evict vs vote to save. My understanding was it has been vote to evict until the final and then it was vote to win, however this may have changed numerous times during the different series, it is a good way of manipulating the result.

All this nasty racist Jim bit.....pretty sure most of it was his act....Chalky etc, all from a different time, when the older ones amongst us probably used the same sort of language at some point, because we knew no better. I am sure in his world now he mixes in all sorts of circles and doesn't call people Chalky etc.

From the bits I have seen there are far worse people in the house.....

Title: Re: Celebrity Big Brother

Jim in this series has come across as calm, sensible and the one who has tried to avoid arguments. That being said he is surrounded by complete lunatics which push his buttons. Last night was the classic example. He tried to be nice to Nolan and she took something he said and twisted it into a argument, very petty and looked bad on her. Obviously Jim knows how to be a complete ***** and told big mouth to ask Nolan about Frank Carson.......

Based on what I have seen Jim will survive for a while unless he implodes and loses it. Lee has to go imo, totally selfcentreed and blaming everyone for him being a snake.

Title: Re: Celebrity Big Brother
Post by: Doobs on January 17, 2014, 04:51:59 PM
The nasty racist Jim thing is just his strap line.  That humour was of that generation, but it did seem to go on much longer than it should have done for some of us.  He comes across OK in this and doesn't seem particularly nasty.  Think he was hard done by in that Hell's Kitchen thing too, obviously you can't say shirt lifter anymore, but there seemed a big overreaction from Brian to good as you.  Though maybe more than I am aware of was lost in the edit room.

Focusing on the betting a bit more.  Lionel biggest at 2/1 now, which still beats Betfair.  Obviously Lee is dead man walking, but he seems more likely to get save votes.  Think people should still bet if they can.  Not much point on putting it on thread as Boyles don't like Tony's custom anymore.

Over a short course it's going to be difficult for anyone not currently in the top two to win it imo, especially given the good viewing figures this cereal is bringing in.

Gogogogo racist Jim!

Anyone else get the feeling from tonight's show that Channel5 don't want racist Jim as the winner? I predict a drift in the next few days.

Thinking of backing Sam if she hits around 9/2.

Totally agree Chompy, looks like Jim may not be able to last the full amount of time, thought he was going a bit stir crazy last night. Cant see how he shortened. What do you think about Liz being a dark horse? A bit like that Lauren from last series?

Really like Liz now, shes actually really funny and not bitchy in the slightest. Hopefully she continues this but its taken her a long time to get into it!

If you don't want to know who's up for eviction on Wednesday, look away now...

Liz v Sam v Jim

1/8 Liz, 10 each of the other pair. Liz is a gonna.

We're also going to find out who's topping the public vote when they announce who got the most save votes between Sam and Jim.

If Jim wins this I don't see Sam driffing much. If Sam wins this she will probably go favourite. This could be a good spot.

I think people were expecting him to be a chauvanist and racist when actually he is not or he is playing a good game, remember he wanted to be on this show before, Chompy also mentioned he has a tour starting straight after, what better publicity than being on tv every night for 3/4 weeks. Not so stupid is he?

Plus he is big mates with Richard Desmond, thats why he is on the show.

I went to two of Jims shows last year and the venues were only a quarter full, eight years ago they were a sell out.

Where are is votes coming from because he can't put bums on seats live nowadays

She'd be a live runner if this series was running for another month.

Title: Re: Celebrity Big Brother
Post by: Omm on January 21, 2014, 10:24:22 PM
Casey has blown any chance she had of top 3, is she that desperate that she acts like a lap dog to Lee? Dappys price has crashed, can't really see why, although he couldn't keep the bad boy act up for 3 weeks. Had a little punt on Luisa ew, think she has been the hub of any entertainment and tonight showed that when the others were left in the house and you could hear the tumbleweed.

Linda is a cert to go when she is up, anything evens or above I'm lumping on. Miserable bint.

Hmmm - thought as much. Just with them doing the 'most votes' thing a few times I thought they may release that somewhere rather than the actual %'s. Backed Sam as she drifted with view to lay when she gets short into top 3. Her fan base is huge which I'm hoping will over compensate for her being boring. Never watched towie but hear she's one of the more popular ones and has 1m twitter followers. Other problem is the 'nice' vote gets diluted between her and Ollie meaning Jim wins out. Dappy darkhorse a factor too - hardest one ever to predict for me.

havent seen tonights eviction yet but if they didnt do the most votes thing tonight i presume its because after friday it would give away who is winning ATM as they were the top 2 (not including also rans linda and casey) and if tonight they also made the one with most votes safe then they would make that person out infront in the race to win

Yeah makes sense. Think they only do that when it's a larger field as I assume with fewer horses they get more votes in the next 30 mins that way as fans think 'shit my fav might go - better vote again'.

Separate note - Don't get the Jim thing at all. He's playing a massive game. Tonight he said in diary room, if I stay tomorrow (tonight) then I'll win. Bb even asked him if he meant that he thinks he'll win and he said no - I WILL win! Result on Betfair - odds hardly change.  :dontask:

Don't know who I want out  next lee or Linda, lee is a Pratt, but Linda is so boring and I used to be a huge Nolan's fan in the 80 and had a crush on the sisters till I was about 16

Title: Re: Celebrity Big Brother
Post by: Omm on January 23, 2014, 11:39:54 AM
Although this line up has been great, this series has been quite frustrating as far as favs go, I've come to the conclusion that the only person that deserves to win is Luisa Zissman, she is the only one who is actually being herself all the way through while being naturally entertaining. Ollie and Sam boring, Linda miserable and bitter, Dappy as fake as the days long, Casey desperate, Lee plain stupid and Jim obviously wants to restore his reputation after the year he has had so is not really being himself.

If there is any justice then sense will prevail and Luisa will win (and my 25-1 will pay for euro Disney)

Nolan is coming across really bad, I don't think she is as mean or bitter as she is shown to be on CBB but this aint done her any favours. For the sake of just getting along she has to keep her mouth shut. Having a go at Jim for being "too nice" for making her and the rest of the grub and passing her the correct sized knife was about as lame as it gets. Jim was like, what you want me to do? shoove the knife up your ass? The nominations where Jim absolutly made her look the bitter bitch she is was pricless.

Shows you how wrong you can get things...

I still hope he wins though, and would can't wait to see the look on Linda's boat as he emerges victorious ;D

Interesting twist - Sam might not make the final through illness ...

http://on.reveal.co.uk/1dEsTF9

Just read on twitter on official bbbots page that she's still an official housemate and they'll confirm once they know more + said they didn't know either way if she'll stay yet in last 10 mins they have removed the tweets - prob from fear that they'll be shown up for hiding it? Odds have already gone through the roof.

Does this affect Jim winning though? Assuming she does go then do her voters abstain or convert to Ollie and if yes will it be enough to catch what looks to be a cert win right now for Jim? Think it's safe to say Ollie will shorten in next few days though esp with his family visiting on tomorrow's show - few tears to melt some hearts blah blah.

Think I'm overanalysing this just a tad!

Celebrity Big Brother 2014: Who is your favourite?

Jim (43%, 3,150 Votes)
Luisa Zissman (17%, 1,290 Votes)
Ollie Locke (17%, 1,260 Votes)
Dappy (10%, 714 Votes)
Sam Faiers (8%, 585 Votes)
Casey Batchelor (5%, 386 Votes)
Total Voters: 7,387

matt_damon's two bets seem pretty sensible. Either of those top threes feel right to me. I've never seen the Dappy appeal and still don't. If he finishes top three I'm happy to lose a few quid, so be it.
