Title: £110 B/i, river decision Post by: shipitgood on December 31, 2013, 12:51:01 PM I felt the check raise on the flop was a set or air, it was such a dry board.
Called the turn to re-assess on the river. The river card looks pretty terrible, he could have 10s, 8 10, q 10. I didn't really think he had 2 many 10s in his range, and certainly didnt think he was check raising 10s on this flop. By the river when he overbet jams (setting me all in) i don't think he's ever doing this with a set. Call or fold the river? If you make a habit of calling turn and folding or even calling river here then you're just going to be stationing money away. Against some opponents I'd not feel happy on the flop either although you see some people just spazzing about and clicking buttons here so I'm certainly peeling the flop almost all the time.

Agree with this, assume hand is from Roller. Flop call is fine but I don't see him firing again on turn and river with worse so I would fold turn. Havent heard of oppo so we might be getting bluffed by a random but would rather fold and find out later as line is so strong. Thanks both. I call the river. I don't love it, but at the same time i'm not overly worried. As the time bar is going down, type in the chat box "set?", but i didn't think it was a set for some reason, i thought it was a bluff as the time bar was going down, and called after using most of the time bar. Iregardless, of the result, i wonder if this is the right play. |
