Title: More Zoom Poker Advice Needed Post by: Rod on January 03, 2014, 01:34:58 PM Hi Guy's
Just another Zoom Hand I would like some help/advice with if possible. I know I make mistakes during the hand but would like to know how other people would play it and what would have been the most profitable line. My opponent is 26/16/12 over 40 hands. Some of my questions are should I be raising bigger preflop or is this the right amount. I assume the flop to be OK Should I try to get it in on the turn potentially? I took a pot control line as I was wondering if I really got called by much I was beating? Is there any value in raising on the river? I am almost always good I know, but do I get called by things that beat me often enough. Or am I in front so often that I should just treat it as the nuts and shove anyway PokerStars Zoom Hand #109509183190: Hold'em No Limit ($0.10/$0.25) - 2014/01/03 12:40:50 WET [2014/01/03 7:40:50 ET] Table 'Hydra' 6-max Seat #1 is the button Seat 1: serandx ($27.82 in chips) Seat 2: papero17 ($54.38 in chips) Seat 3: 33teetwo33 ($47.68 in chips) Seat 4: AmoHs ($17.70 in chips) Seat 5: Peastwood7 ($26 in chips) Seat 6: Donkijuice ($38.01 in chips) papero17: posts small blind $0.10 33teetwo33: posts big blind $0.25 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to 33teetwo33 [Ad As] AmoHs: raises $0.37 to $0.62 Peastwood7: folds Donkijuice: folds serandx: folds papero17: raises $1.49 to $2.11 33teetwo33: raises $2.89 to $5 AmoHs: folds papero17: calls $2.89 *** FLOP *** [2s 7s 6s] papero17: checks 33teetwo33: bets $7 papero17: calls $7 *** TURN *** [2s 7s 6s] [5d] papero17: checks 33teetwo33: checks *** RIVER *** [2s 7s 6s 5d] [5s] papero17: bets $11.75 33teetwo33: calls $11.75 Title: Re: More Zoom Poker Advice Needed Post by: PathFinder on January 03, 2014, 02:12:45 PM Preflop sizing should be larger due to stack sizes but it isnt awful by any means. I would bet all 3 streets and be happy about it. You will get called down by most over pairs plus you have the Aspades which makes barreling easier.
