As the title may suggest, an interesting situation arose yesterday at dtd during the 25 rebuy satellite for the GPS.

Basically, a guy returned to his seat at the end of the add on period to find that his 6k add on had not been received, despite the money for it being taken. The clock for the tournament commenced, as did play, and the guy was told that the TD's were going to check the camera's. My question is - How much is he playing in the meantime?

Is it 8900 ?

Shouldn't the clock be stopped if they are checking the camera?

The 6k has to be in play as it would be impossible to put it on the table retrospectively.  IF it turns out the player hasn't left the £ or lied for whatever reason then I'm sure noone will mind if he gets removed from the club and / or banned.

I very much doubt theres an official ruling for this as I doubt it happens very often, but the above seems like common sense to me.

I think this is a situation where the tournament should be paused while this is checked.  If it continues, it cant continue as him playing the chips in front of him and then more chips added later if he rrebuys, what if he is all in and loses in that time?  It makes a difference to the stack.  Cant continue as if he has the chips because what if he loses more than his stack without the addon but not the whole stack?  Eliminate him from the tournament and take the extra chips back off the table?

Did the police not pause the comp?
