Post by: SuuPRlim on January 12, 2014, 02:35:53 PM no i don't think so,I'd call the river here most times, you're repping QJ and he has a lot of 2+ smaller straights he could bulff with + he very well might VB a smaller flush (at least he should)
I don't really like the turn raise tbh I think we should bet QJ on the flop as we have a J8 blocker and can stand a raise IP even with naked QJ. I think with our hand I'd either just bet the flop (I dont think this is a bad board AT ALL to be c-betting and we have top/pair, nut gut-shot and a BD Flish draw so our hand doesn't even completely hate a call. This being said as well I don't mind checking back at all with our hand OTF, but with a view to cheaply realising our equity or using our hand to catch bluffs on a later street, there is a few rivers we could bluff after calling lots of different turns as well, hand is going to play quite comfortably IP. I think OTT here we have a very very comfortable call, and neither of the other options are particularly appealing. River call is fine though, which is what the question was :D Title: Re: PLO cash river spot, always losing?
