Easiest check back ever or is anyone going for thin value from 66, 1010, A8, A9?

River : (€2.16, 2 players) 5c
Hero checks, MP bets €1.40, Hero ??

Call? Raise? if so, how much? and what's the plan if he jams?

My thought process during the hand: Pre is pretty loose but I have him a labelled as a fish and should be fine post flop. I planned to check raise the turn if he fired a 2nd bullet with the 2 flush draws. When he checks back I figure he has some sort of draw or is just giving up. As the river is pretty much a brick I check to let him bluff at it again..

Hand 1, not sure what player has behind on the river, a check is fine, i'd prob put in a small value bet.

Hand 2 I would be check raising the flop oop. I can't see the pot size again, but would go to about 2.2-2.40, bet turn and bomb the river.

In hand one, MP has less than the pot behind. If he wants your overpair to pay him off, it's going to be by value betting, rather than check-raising. Would be a very odd line for a set or better to be going limp-call, c/c, c/c , c/r.

Most likely holding to me is 67 and he doesn't need to bluff, having hit the river. He might bluff-catch if you bet, as you've polarised your range good and proper.

Arguably, this is almost the bottom of your value range, so three streets might be optimistic. If you've been aggressive enough up to now and MP is likely to pay you off with one pair, you can bet here IMO. If any of those factors aren't favourable, check behind and pick up seven euros quite often.

Quite interested in views on this one. Possibly more than hand two.

bet hand 1, they've limp called then just called down, we have sub pot back, dat overypair, yes there are some rivered two pair combos, but w/e if he c/c better than our hand make a note, size your bet to target his most likely weak 1 pair hands that can call ~5.88. if he's really bad though then lol overpair jams it in.

if we check riv hand 2 to let him bluff the bulk of the time, then we can target our c/r vs his Jx, fds that paired up etc so wouldn't go very big.

on phone..

hand 1. I checked behind but felt like I was missing value. It was unlikely he would have called (66) but I'll know for next time.

hand 2. I went 3.88 on river. The scumbag jammed on me for like 14 euro. Fold or call?

specifc move on hand two should probably be something along the lines of fistpump river raise, TANK FUCK THIS BITCH HOW ALSKJALSDKJFADSF COKSUKA, THEN FOLD lol

if you think your truppage might be good then bet call like a hero, depends on whether he jams straights etc on river

Hand 1 im jamming now. People love a good call we block some of his draw combos that got there and i dont really see him playing a set/2 pair this way unless he maybe has like 97? but im jamming here.

Hand 2 as played like this i probably just call now. Seem to be going more for this when people go bet check bet. even if i have a semi nutted hand. Also i dont mind occasionally leading the flop or check raising, just because often people go why would he lead the flop with a 2 etc. I think leading looks weaker then a check raise but i may have got my thinking on this all messed up.

Definitely betting river on hand 1, don't think it's close. Rest seems wp except i'd iso to $.80, lol smallest point but thought i'd throw it in there.

Hand 2 raise river for value yeah

I'd bet hand 1 and c/r flop hand 2. As played I think its a clear raise but yeah not too big and fold to a jam

id go for value almost always otr in hand 2, its a sick spot for him to bluffjam v a cr, but probably<1% of the player pool is doing this.

hand 1 id be looking at their showdown numbers, but going for value v most.
