I can't seem to get the Full Tilt client open. Can someone please try so I know whether it is a problem at their end, or an issue with my PC?

Yep on BT infinity. But I just got it to work now, after trying unsuccessfully for about an hour.

I talked too soon! Just completely froze in middle of big pot :(

Yeh I've had the network status window up for the last hour. Connection to every host is 100% except 'PokerStars Website, Isle of Man' which is either 0% and I can't log in or fluctuates between 20 and 30 percent which drops every 10 minutes or so.

Very annoying :(

Had this all day - BT, or Stars bollox up?

Stars have said that BT are working on it, will post when its back up to 100% connection

Do Stars and Tilt share the same server or something?

Or whatever the term is, if not server? What I mean is... why should a PS problem create issues for me on Tilt?

well FTP are now owned by stars, so you'd assume they combined technical facilities for efficiency.

Yeah fair enough. Can someone let me know when it is okay to start playing again? I don't wanna play when I could get software freezing in middle of a pot again obviously...

Both Stars and FTP have been playing up all day for me too and I also have BT Infinity. I was playing cash at the time it disconnected so I mentioned a couple of the hands playing to their support and got this reply...

Network status for Isle of Man fluctuating between 80 and 95%. It was 20-40% when I was having problems so looks to be playable now

My connection during mtt session has really laggy, like a pot would get awarded and their would be a 5s delay on the next hand getting dealt. People were talking about it on cash tables too.

Been playing the the last couple of hours without a problem

it would be so unlikely for the stars servers to fail that bad ever! let alone on a normal day, the have so much back up and their on power generator on the isle of man that if there was a nuclear war, and everyone dies.

PokerStars would still be making GTD's

BT Infinity cable fecked. Having to reroute through satellites. Satellites cant handle all the players :P

My connection was hovering around 40%, but is now down to 8%...

That's weird because my BT Infinity still works fine for everything else. Why would it just be a problem for FullTilt and PokerStars?

because it's got to get to the servers in the IOM when generic traffic can go a myriad of routes that stay away from the trouble spot.

I'd say playing before 10pm you're almost certain to be disconnected at some point, its been fine after then the last couple of days though
