Anyone been watching this? First couple of episodes haven't been bad actually, moderately entertaining. On 8pm every night and on catch up too.

I saw the womens skeleton event.  I quite enjoy the idea of the program but that it took best part of an hour to show 5 x 45 second clips is beyond slow.  Why do they drag these things out so much, would be better in a half hour program.  The program Perfection is like that, so bloody slow, they even draw out the "reveal" when we know all four answers are correct!

Record and watch later ftw!

I can't do that with this type of program. If I don't watch it at the time, I'm unlikely to watch it on the planner.

Just watching this farce of a shows final, can't believe that neither of them are going off the big jump, think the producers have got this really wrong, why have an option of the big jump if nobody is going to do it. Can't see this coming back again.

At least someone is doing it but still a poor showing especially from all the athlete's when it's left to a reality singer to show them how it's done, I suppose Steve would have done it if not injured.

Something about this show that's not right, I can't put my finger on it but parts are good and the rest is complete horse manure. Talk about filling time with a lot of rubbish.

Yeah, I've been watching it on playback and forwarding through the fillers, some of the action has been fun to watch though. I think they have probably had to change the format of the show because of losing so many people through injury. Less competitors = more time to fill.

Was that actually Davina going off the big jump?
It all seemed very casual.

I was surprised any of them survived long enough to make any show at all, and the fact that that some of them were quite good in so short a time is amazing.
Good on them all!
Really wanted Donal to win though.

Needs to be renamed The Fall as they seem to just fall off that ski jump :)

Must be getting paid loads to do it. Don't think I'd do the skeleton

Let's not forget Ola Jordan, who was supposed to be on this series but bust her leg so badly in practice that her dancing career may well be over.

Oooff. I think the problem is a lot of them seem pretty flippant about it. Even just skiing is pretty risky for injuries, let alone some of the sports they are doing here.

I thought it was  a bit harsh making Heather Mills do the jump!  Didn't see it mind, got sidetracked.

I remember a few years back the company I work for took a load of our senior managers to Tamworth snowdome skiing for a motivational activity day.

One of the girls fell so badly she twisted her knee 180 degrees and was off work for nearly a year, don't think they will risk doing that sort of thing again!!

No excuses fellas  http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/snowandski/ski-deals/11090411/Exclusive-Telegraph-holiday-offer-take-on-the-skeleton-in-Austria-with-Olympian-Amy-Williams.html (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/snowandski/ski-deals/11090411/Exclusive-Telegraph-holiday-offer-take-on-the-skeleton-in-Austria-with-Olympian-Amy-Williams.html)

At the risk of backing the whole field, I like the look of this Louise Thompson.  She isn't far off Tindall on the big jump and certainly seems confident in her skiing ability.  Corals went 8/1 earlier which looked a solid each way to me.

She did shorten before the series which suggests some smart money too.  Her twitter is useless though, full of rubbish about her clothing.  This series has been pretty rubbish for following twitter, Tindall has been pretty quiet too.  Only steveo producing quality tweets, though not sure any of them are any use for betting.

Edit just read Louise Thompson's twitter for an update.  Suggest NOT backing her right now!

That's a pretty cool break idea, just the £1250 I'm short of ;)  I assume it's a one off event, poor Amy could be dining out with strangers for the next couple of years!  St

I'm surprised to hear she's in it. I assume the participants all have to be able to ski reasonably competently already, but she's an international skier with a pretty high world ranking, albeit in disabled competitions. Seems unfair for them to match someone as good as that at snow stuff against people just having a go.

Tindall got turned over by the fuckwit

why didn't he jump off the big jump for the final one?

Carnage on Betfair.  Result in 20 minutes early.  Bubbles the place and the win.

Reminder for next year.  The draw is horribly rigged.  Wp Joey

Spencer Matthews at 6/1 looks good value if he's got his roid issues resolved.

Terrible value given he is 16/1 elsewhere.   ;)

What a good line up this year.

Surprised the EU haven't regulated to ban this yet Woodsey?  ;whistle;

given the terrible injuries last year, I am surprised they could afford the insurance premiums this, ITV that is.

might look up how many viewers it gets, see if the ad revenue is big

Only a matter of time before twitter is awash with the appalled.  Some people like to throw themselves down mountains ans some people like to knit and drink coffee.

Personally I am looking foreward to celebrity cannonball with Katie Hopkins.

almost got cancelled due to poor ratings at the end of series 3

"reported that insurance costs for the injuries sustained by cast members could total over £31,000 per episode."

2m viewers

got renewed in the end

So long as ITV keep paying the insurance premiums, the show can continue.  :D

Jesus, just seen the full line up which looks great, but I'm amazed that a few active athletes are willing to take the risk  :o
