Title: UKPC Monday, bits, bobs, stuff & things.
Post by: tikay on February 17, 2014, 08:37:55 PM
Good evening from DTD.

Where the hell is Tighty?

The action has started, & I'll post a few odds & sods up from this evening as we progress.

The High Roller Mega Sat has commenced, 5 x £3,300 seats guaranteed, unlimited rebuys @ £150 a go.

PS - this is NOT a Live Update, just bits of stuff.

Oxford comma in the title.

You can tell Tighty isn't there, yet.

Have a great week, sir.

31 entries so far for the HR Mega Sat, & 15 minutes in 4 rebuys.

Roll-Call of the great & good to follow shortly.

Don't worry about replying. Just enjoy yourself :) May see you towards the end of the week.

No, first ever interactive Poker Update.

Joe Beevers was immensely helpful, but there was no Jen Mason, instead we had Adam Mason, assisting from....Grantham.

Stop saying things, I'm busy.

After 2 Levels......

So, over £12k in the pot already, needs £16,500 to cover the 5 seats Guaranteed.

What TV Coverage will we get this Week TK?

None, zilch, zero.

The UKPC is being filmed for a 6 part series to air on Sky Sports, starting in mid March, so no TV coverage or Live Stream "spoilers".

There will be Live Updates, & maybe a bunch of short You Tube clips though.

Tonight's High Roller satellite had 50 runners, & 114 rebuys, so about 7 seats at a guess.

There is another HR Satellite tomorrow, (1pm) which might well make as many again.

Rich, If I come and play tonight's ME Sat, will I win a seat?

TIA

You will get to the final three tables, then be crippled with JJ v QQ

You will grind it back, showing patience and short-stacked skill

With 20 seats available you will eventually exit in 21th, AK losing to AQ, Queen on the turn

You win £700 and then agonise about whether to use this to buy in or to buy an old VW Camper you've seen as a project

A certain someone will pester you to play, and you will cave

See you in the Main Event

Me again  :hello:

Is there an online mega sat tonight?  There seems to be feeders in the lobby but it says the mega sat starts in 6 days.

Note- I could be confused.

Also: Can I use online feeder tokens for live buy-ins?
