Make sure to read Jared Tendlers' book mental game of poker before utilising the lifts to the car park. Je-sus.

Also, to exit the car park, take the LEFT lane of the spiral otherwise you'll have to reverse the whole way back up.

Ask me how I know

Ha, this is the car park I always use and its both state of the art and completely fookin tilting. I've been both stuck in the lift and locked out of the car park because of faults.

GentingPokerSeries ‏@GPSeries 2m

Can we just confirm that Matt Davenport hasn’t got 1.6 million chips from the Online Day 1A. The tournament has to finish and have a winner

ie you need to draw a line under the tournament at the end of day one online, fromw hich point it continues (set up by ipoker that way)

Not really, the tournament plays out to a finish online, hence someone gets all the chips

The chip counts taken forward are those from the end of the line day one, some levels previous

If i see the counts posted up I will copy them across

"We have a more than worthy winner in James Parker who lives in South Africa and will be taking the trophy home.

A great turnout here as 400 entries turned out to create a prizepool of £160,000.

Today we had 21 hopefuls coming back all with their eyes on the first place prize of £35,000 and that trophy!! Ali Mallu led the troops into battle with a huge stack of just over 1.1million.

There were fireworks early on as The Mallu was in 5th gear, full steam ahead as he Mallu’d a few players out the door. Richard Cotton was the most unfortunate player to have his Kings smashed by the 5-3 of Ali who rivered the straight.

Mallu went into the final as the chip daddy and didn’t slow down, just putting constant pressure on the other players.

Gabriel was the first player to be eliminated from the final. Holding pocket tens he got it all in vs Ali Mallu who had K-J. Gabriel flopped a set but Ali hit runner runner for broadway, He took home £3,205 for his 9th place finish, but was obviously disappointed.

Steve Devine would be the eighth placed finisher who got involved in a huge pot with Kellett, snapping him off on the turn of 8—4—3—J. Unfortunately for Steve, Kellett had Kings. The Sheffield local left in eighth for £4,720.

In 7th we lost Charles Akadiri who yesterday was all in on the bubble. Charles got short on the final, forced to shove with 7-6 and was looked up by Steve Warburton holding A-9. Charles couldn’t get there despite flopping a straight draw and would leave £6,205 richer.

Dean Clay was the man to bust in 6th place. All in with pocket threes against the A-10 of Ashley Locker. Ashley flopped an Ace and that would mean Dean would head to the cashier desk for his cheque of £7,950.

Then the sickest hand of the final table. Ali Mallu moves in and Steve Warburton called off his 1 mil stack. Ali would table the mighty 5-2 against the 8-8 of Warbs. A two on the flop and a 5 on the river would give Ali two pair. Steve would finish 5th for £10,490. Another great performance.

Four handed the play was quite with not a lot happening. This went on for an hour or so. Then Ashley Locker called off his stack with K-J and ran into the A-10 of Ali. Ashley flopped a Jack, but an Ace on the turn would award Ali the pot. Ashley would head to the cashiers desk to collect his £13,335.

The players went for a break three handed, when they returned a deal had been done…
Ali Mallu - £31,425
Kellett - £24,855
James Parker - £22,120

Ali had 75% of the chips and rightly took most of the money. The players then decided to play bingo poker, getting it in hand after hand, which Ali couldn’t seem to win. He left in third place but was more than happy with his performance. A one of a kind entertainer.

When we got to heads up play the players were quite level and decided to play it properly. It was very even and swingy until one key hand where James rivered a flush against the flopped set of Kellett. There was no way back then and eventually the last of Kelletts chips went in with A-7 against the A-K of James. Who would fade a seven to be handed the trophy. "
