Title: EPT Vienna / GUKPT Manchester
Post by: wazz on February 26, 2014, 02:23:17 AM
Hey guys,

Satellited into EPT Vienna a few weeks ago so putting a package together.

Previous staking threads:

15 shares available. Minimum purchase is 0.5 shares.

Should all be fairly self-explanatory. Have been playing tons more live and online in the last 6 months - probably about break-even online in cash, losing in MTTs (not using a tracker atm), up £31k in 128 hours of live cash over the last 6 months. Almost all of which has been on my own action. About 30% of the profits have been limited shots at £5/10 and higher; filtering that out leaves an hourly rate of almost £170 over 120 hours.

Online stats while I was tracking:

Currylover / Stu Barnett and MrBlond / Dave Burn would hopefully give me character references and I know a fair few other well-respected professionals well. I've been a professional poker player for more than 7.5 years now.

Stars preferable - send in € or £ (really easy - you just need to create a € or £ account, advisable if you're going to be playing sats for UK or € events). Name: wazzbot, (UK), pic of smarmy-looking semi-naked guy with sunglasses (neverscaredb for those in the know).
Bank transfer also doable - please PM for details.

With respect to payouts I should be relatively flexible but I intend to pay out via the method you sent me.

Twitter is https://twitter.com/wazzbert.

Oh and please specify whether you're ok for a reasonable (1-3%) tip to come out of your share.

NeverscaredB has bought 1 share.

Only selling on here fyi.

Half a share please

Half a share please

Done!

Jamie Burland has bought half a share as well to take it to 2 shares sold.

Also, just to say that I'll be playing obviously at the very least the EPT regardless of how much action sold and unless I run terribad between now and then will likely play the rest whether or not I sell all 15 shares.

Oh also exchange rates for buying are locked into what they were when the package went up - 1.211 €/£ and for payouts/refunds will be locked in on the day I bust out of the last tournament.

Played pretty well, learnt a lot from playing lots of pots against some very good players (and some awful ones), got pretty unlucky in those two levels after dinner, oh well, onto the next one!

Donkpredator has 2 shares and highlandfox has 1.

As 1 of the MTTs has now been played the cost of a share is reduced - €303/£250.

Haven't had as much success selling as I'd like and haven't run good enough to want to take the rest of the action myself so opening this up to 2p2.

imo you'd sell more if you posted in the forum

I'm skipping the two PLO events so I can play the main on day 1a so you'll all be due refunds. Eureka high-roller day 2 is tomorrow (1a), it's also the day after the stars party (free booze = much hangover, I did not attend) and it's a sunday so online grinders could well stay home, so expecting the field to be relatively soft tomorrow.

Other than here, sold 1 share to jjetoni, and 10% just of the main sold to a friend.

So here's the team:

NSB: 4.5%
KP24: 2.25%
Highlandfox: 4.5%
Donkpredator: 9%
Jjetoni: 4.5%
Friend: 10%

Haven't had as much success selling as I'd like and haven't run good enough to want to take the rest of the action myself so opening this up to 2p2.

imo you'd sell more if you posted in the forum

Thanks for that

But will these contributions stop abruptly when 300 is reached and the inevitable staking thread goes up?

They won't stop but there's obviously no way I can prove this ahead of time

And on reflection?

Busted last level of the day. Played reaaaaally well. Wish I'd listened to my gut on a couple of hands. Could also possibly have gotten away from my bustout hand but I don't think it was a big mistake. Otherwise I'm very happy with my play and am slightly concerned I've caught the tournament bug....

Refunds all sent.

Sorry, am I not living up to your posting standards?

Perhaps you should give me a quota?

I don't mind if you post once or 500 times. But as you wrote what you did about continuing to contribute, and not just around staking request threads, I thought I'd see if you still thought your contribution was what you had anticipated it to be. It may be that we just visit different boards but I hadn't seen you post in a while.

Yeah really enjoyed playing this. Fear I've caught the tournament bug. Said to myself that I would go out to vegas with the plan of playing maximum two MTTs, the main and a smaller warm-up but I might go and play a much bigger schedule, we'll see.
