Sorry just to clarify, what if we get raised, called etc?

Not enough hands on anyone, so whats the plan?

bet fold vs btn and bb, if i get raised i coin flip decide maybe to stick it in vs all others, i feel like leading big because it looks real unbalanced like u could have 88 here or AA and weaker Jx will always get sticky, i cant see anyone else trying to raise take the lead vs you with anything you have beat 'cept 34. turn should be straight forward and dennnnnnn i'm mostly scared of Q's K's and T's

i lead here big as standard cus frequently it avoids tricky multiway turn cards

About tree fiddy. Decide depending on SN/Avvy and after searching tables. Most probably calling I guess.

This looks like a classic overthinking thread if I'm taking it at face value.

You open UTG, get plentycallers, flop a dry TopTop and want to know what to do next. Bet? To conclude anything else as a general principle would basically mean, by extension, you are having doubts about raising UTG with AJ or that you should just check fold all flops if you get called in more than three spots.

If you get raised, you get raised. In tomsomspeak, if we get raised, we get our beast mode awn and play dem pokaz. Sometimes, someone has a set. Sometimes, you've been called by a raging drunk in Sofia with J2. A lot more times, we ride the Tomsom Express to value town

Now obviously, you aren't daft enough to be asking any of the questions I've answered.

Harrington's principle is to give greater weight to the opponents' actions as the hand progresses, so bet, find out what they are made of and continually reassess on the later streets. I know it's dirty to refer to dinotexts like Harrington on Holdem, but the simple stuff is what makes sense of these decisions. And I'm old...

I'm properly confused as I'm definitely missing the actual question you're asking. I bet 400-550 and take it from there.

That post isn't supposed to be patronising, btw. I know I can come across that way.

No its fine.  No point in having a discussion if I don't want to listen to others / take ideas on board.  You have kind of over simplified my question though.  If you wish to have the question re-offered in tomsom speak:

How real does shit have to get before we get away from this?

Or, does anyone do anything different other than c.bet and evaluate.  Guess its kind of hard to know where were at if we do something like ch/call to induce bluffs, but maybe someone has an argument for taking that line.

I'm not for one second suggesting that I'm hating my life at this stage.

Folding pre would be exceptional too. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I'd say when I'm downswinging I fold pre, but ultimately I think its best at this stage (and having chipped down.)

Right. Makes more sense. Apologies for not getting what you meant.

Just to extend the question, if you CBet a lot and you're at a table that knows that, would the answer differ?

easiest bet fold in the history of texas hold them.

This is what actually happened but kind of felt like it would happen a fair bit, probs levelling myself.  I c.bet somewhere round 360 I think and the button clicked it back.

fold pre ainec imo.

If I had my usual amount of tables open I would fold this pre and not think twice.  I'm pretty sure opening when I'm paying 100% attention and have all the time in the world to think about it can't be that bad though?

Just to extend the question, if you CBet a lot and you're at a table that knows that, would the answer differ?

This is an extremely deep rabbit hole.  Just for the shear number of variables im not even going to attempt this  ;D

They never know this so you can go ahead and cbet and not worry about this.
