Title: Six Max structure next weekend - 50K chips, 100-200 25 ante

Get the new structure out!!!!!!

great minds think alike, or not, just posted this on my facebook this morning

Important: after discussion the DTD card room and with players at the GPS this weekend - I have decided that we will use the new Deepstack blinds and antes structure http://www.dusktilldawncasinonottingham.com/tournamentstructure.php#deepstack for next weekends £250 6 max, 50K chips, blinds starting 100-200 25 ante with a 40 min clock. I'm keen to try 'antes from level 1' a few times over the next 3-4 weeks and this 6 max gives us a welcome opportunity to do so. Cheers ACES

quick question for this tournament, as I never quite get my head around the +1RE etc.

If I enter the Friday Day 1 (final/day 2, being the Sunday) and go out on the Friday, can I "RE" on the Saturday? and / or the Friday?  Or is it just a RE into another Day 1 - in this case the Saturday being the only option?

I'm asking for next weeks tournament (28th March) but assume it's the same no matter what date it is being played on.  I'd love to play for my 40th Birthday, a little treat for myself, but put off if it is a +1RE into the same day, as this of course changes the dynamic, if other people play it as a "if i go out I'll buy back in again today" kind of approach.

Any help, greatly appreciated.

Hi,

You are allowed to re enter on the same day AND a later Day 1 should you fail to make Day 2 on your first attempt. You may also re enter and forfeit your first Day 2 stack if you are not satisfied with it.
Hope this helps,
Glenn

So would you say a huge disadvantage if your looking to play with one bullet? Assuming most entries will have at least 1 extra?

If im looking to play, i should consider £500?

Not necessarily. Many players will have you think that playing one bullet is a disadvantage but with these structures its not going to be necessary for many players, and often those who RE are building the prize pool for those who don't

they are mainly there, as I see it, for a couple of reasons

a) the "I got my Aces cracked in level 1" person and
b) the travelling player who wants the backstop of a try on another day if the first try is unsuccessful

Of course you will get

c) the player prepared to throw several bullets at it but these can be i) value for everyone else and ii) are more in a minority than many people think

Toying with the idea of playing this today. I love the look of the structure, 6 max is awesome and the buy in level is pretty much perfect.

I can't see it not making the guarantee to be honest. Might be a close one but 105 on a Saturday should be fine.

I guess I should go along and support seeing as DTD have put on a comp that ticks pretty much every box I'd ever want it to.
