Guys need a bit of help a friend of a friend is being shafted (imo) by Ladbrokes and  I am struggling to find a rule that they can use to get out of paying. 

Basically he was waiting on Spurs for a £33 k payout on a football acca but they are saying as the goal came in injury time the 90th minute result was a draw? 

This doesn't seem right to me, and I am sure I have had a 90th + minute eualiser/winner go in my favour before. 

I have been trawling the Laddies website for last 30 minutes but can't see anything that covers them here.

I think its actually time for this firm to shut itself down and see what cash they can give to shareholders.  They are actually now pathetic angleshoooters.

I tried that line in a Hills shop in 1995 whilst at uni when i had £20 at 8/1 on a 0-0 draw and Fowler scored in the 93rd to make it 1-0 and, quite rightly, they told me to GFTO and STFU!  Suggest you tell Ladbrokes to do the same.

Seems they have taken the coupon in shop and not giving it back.  I'm telling him to get the cops involved for now.

The score at 90 minutes was 3-3, the referee added six minutes injury time and Michael Owen scored the winner in the 96th minute. For betting purposes this match is settled as a Man United win (not a draw) and Michael Owen would be settled as the Last Goalscorer.

From their rules:

All football bets will be settled on 90 minutes play (also referred to as Full-time and normal time). This denotes the period of play which includes time added by the Referee for injuries and other stoppages. This does not include scheduled extra time, or Penalty shoot-outs, if played.

surely all joking aside its impossible for this to have actually happened as the coupon acca would be settled automatically from their computer system as a winner if its a shop bet on a coupon.

Possibly the shop staff up to something?

Sounds like it otherwise why would they want to keep a "losing" coupon?

Surely it is 9 days too early for this.

There is certainly no level in my part here, I am getting info in dribs and drabs. 

When I know more I will post it but for now what i know is stated ITT. 

It's a no brainer for him to call Ladbrokes customer service whilst he's still in the shop.

Just to get the ball rolling I would try and find twenty or so games that were won by a single goal in the 90plus minute and go back in and say you had bets on all these games and threw the ticket away assuming they were one nil results.

Now you know their rules are different you demand to be paid on all those slips but naturally you threw them away.

Whilst you get it sorted out should keep the shop staff suitably pissed off.
