disagree with this don't think we should really get called by worse when we shove. I went with call as he does take off here with Qx and maybe some Ax hands as well. Think foldings to nitty and really dislike raising.

What makes you think that? (Just wondering, that's not meant to sound stand-offish :p)

Whilst I dont know Ironside's thought processes (this could be good or bad), I agree with what he says.

The only hands that check flop and calls turn is QJ, QT or JT (and I would expect JT to raise). Underpairs fold turn, Ax bets flop and all 2 pair hands raise turn due to straightening board. I'm not expecting a random Villain to get funky on a 5NL 6-max table and slow play 2 pair on the turn of an 2AKQ board.

From what ive seen I'd expect him to have KQ some of the time here never gonna have AQ but QJ/QT/JT are all parts of his range that check back the flop. I think raising here is bad to be honest, think we rarely ever get all the chips in the middle against worse

Think the question is what calls a cram though?

If you can only limit it to J10+ (which it should be, perhaps calls with worse 50% of the time), then it shouldnt be a jam.

In regards to call/raising we should be ahead here 61% of the time (based on a range of Q10, QJ, J10, KQ), with pot odds of 33% we should be making the call.

Even if you rule out Q10 then we have 50%, thus should call.

Thing is though, our hand is very well disguised.

We've played passively oop and as such, we have a lot of one pair/two pair holdings in our range plus bluffs and JT, or even KQ.

I don't expect him to show up here with AK/AQ/KQ at all based on how he has played it. AQ/AK would bet flop and KQ would raise turn to protect. More often than not he has Qx and JT. A cram over his raise can only gain us chips/image. If he folds he doesnt get to see our cards and if he calls we are chopping at worst.

Lol. Pretty sure Ironside's thought process is based entirely on knowing the outcome of the hand.

In reality he calls as should pretty much everyone.

Closer to a fold than it is a jam

Just sigh calling and expect to see KQ a lot
