Title: Short Term Rentals Post by: redarmi on April 18, 2014, 05:22:23 AM I am coming back to the UK for a couple of months and usually I go and stay with my parents or friends but on this occasion I am keen to have a base of my own so I can have a bit of independence and not be miles away from friends etc. Hotels are obviously going to be very expensive fairly quickly so I thought I would look at renting an apartment or even a studio/self contained room. Anyone got any experience of this? Everything I have looked at so far seems to be very much focussed on business travellers with expense accounts where as I would expect to only really need somewhere to rest my head and do a bit of work and punting. Am I really going to have to pay nearly two grand for this or are there other, better options?
