Title: Sizing assistance
Post by: Flash92 on April 21, 2014, 05:16:08 PM
PokerStars - $5+$0.50|25/50 Ante 5 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
http://www.boomplayer.com/en/poker-hands/Boom/8584898_5CA5AEE7C9

CO: 4,286 (VPIP: 25.00, PFR: 17.31, 3Bet Preflop: 2.38, Hands: 106)
Hero (UTG): 11,100

Pre Flop: (pot: 105) Hero has   Kh Ac

Hero raises to 150, fold, CO calls 150, fold, fold, BB calls 100

Flop: (505, 3 players)   8s 2c 9c
BB checks, Hero bets 275, CO calls 275, fold

Turn: (1,055, 2 players)  Kd
Hero bets 575, CO calls 575

River: (2,205, 2 players) Ahrt
Hero bets 1,150, CO calls 1,150

Obviously this is not the best river for us to get hero'd down, however can I be adjusting sizing here to get stacks in on river?

Thanks,
Ash

I can't think of any hand villain would try to get his entire stack in with on the river here that you beat. If you'd bet more on the turn, maybe you can jam the river, but it seems like a really high variance line to take to me.

I'm sure the experts will be here shortly to give a better assessment. I'd be happy with the last two cards and the three streets of value you got from A8 or whatever.

K9 A9 A8 89  are only hands that you beat you can get stack in against

I mean as played. Villain jamming the river with those hands looks poor.

yeah but you get poor play at this level, personally i think its very unlikely we are every going to get stacks in on river unless river was a real bad card for us

i like it up till the river but id go smaller on the river to get more hero calls and maybe induce a raise from missed clubs/JT
