- Are you intending to play? - Are you intending to satellite, live or online? How many runners do you think the UKIPT HR will get next week? Title: Re: PokerStars UKIPT @DTD £300,000 Hi-Roller: Rollcall, satellites, expectations Post by: arbboy on April 30, 2014, 09:44:58 AM I will play the live sat on sunday if i make the final day of this month's DS. Would have played a couple of online sats if they were running on dtd/ipoker as i don't have a stars account.
I would imagine it will easily get the gtd. Title: Re: PokerStars UKIPT @DTD £300,000 Hi-Roller: Rollcall, satellites, expectations Post by: pleno1 on April 30, 2014, 06:48:00 PM I posted to Simon in the other thread but I wasn't sure if he knew this coincided with scoop? I'm not going to travel because of it unfortunately..
The 6th is one of the bigger events (super Tuesday special) and also has the popular heads up event. The 75) is the 2k sko that everybody loves. I imagine people like momentmori or other Europeans who follow the tour won't be going and even max silvers/brammers etc may fade too. Should be a good field though. Title: Re: PokerStars UKIPT @DTD £300,000 Hi-Roller: Rollcall, satellites, expectations Post by: DTD-ACES on May 01, 2014, 01:50:28 AM Hi Pleno,
This was the only week available really to us - originally the UKIPT Nottingham was scheduled a week earlier so would have not clashed with SCOOP, but then we had to move a week due to EPT Monte Carlo moving a week forward. The High Roller £150K GTE was doubled to £300K to attract the non UK players who are travelling over to play the £1M (we expect 200 non UK players in the £1K main), we have added a extra Sunday 5 seat GTD satellite plus PokerStars are running a couple of online sats on Thu and Sun, so hopefully we will generate an extra 8-10 qualifiers. On the basis that this is a 'bigger' event that Sky UKPC at £300K GTD rather than £150K GTD, you would hope we could get at least the same field as the Sky UKPC (78), + 8 extra qualifers + extra 15 players from outside of the UK, getting us over the 100 mark, that's the theory anyway. Cheers ACES Title: Re: PokerStars UKIPT @DTD £300,000 Hi-Roller: Rollcall, satellites, expectations Post by: NigDawG on May 01, 2014, 04:11:25 AM i'll be playing

Title: Re: PokerStars UKIPT @DTD £300,000 Hi-Roller: Rollcall, satellites, expectations Post by: robyong on May 01, 2014, 05:49:43 AM i'll be playing Noway brams let's me down pleno - he's Chairman of the DTD player committee :) Yeh - 1 seat Thu and 2 seats Sun not risking it all on a roulette wheel but stars don't normally run HR sats so we are grateful that they have done this for us Cya next week mate Title: Re: PokerStars UKIPT @DTD £300,000 Hi-Roller: Rollcall, satellites, expectations Post by: action man on May 01, 2014, 07:43:02 PM in the sat tonight, come and get it
Title: Re: PokerStars UKIPT @DTD £300,000 Hi-Roller: Rollcall, satellites, expectations Post by: TightEnd on May 04, 2014, 09:14:02 PM High Roller satellite
was originally cancelled because it did not get the runners (less than 10 at start time) £150 rb with 5 £3300 seats GTD is now going to start at 9pm, late registration til 11.20pm "we went round and got 14 runners, going to take a gamble and start it" says Simon on the mike... that's a "can do" attitude even though its likely to cost ££££ if you fancy a stab at the value for the HR, get here by 11.20pm Title: Re: PokerStars UKIPT @DTD £300,000 Hi-Roller: Rollcall, satellites, expectations Post by: DTD-ACES on May 05, 2014, 10:27:07 AM We made the 5 seats by the skin of our teeth. Expecting to be busier tonight for the next High Roller 5 seats GTD. Then we have squeaky bum time sweating the £300K GTD, we wanted to really get behind all side events for our festivals by putting on decent GTE's for players at all levels, this was an ambitious step to double the £150K to £300K, hopefully this will incentivise more players to travel. Currently we have 125 non UK players registered for the £1K main, we can only hit this £300K if some of these players decide to come early for the High Roller. Cheers ACES Title: Re: PokerStars UKIPT @DTD £300,000 Hi-Roller: Rollcall, satellites, expectations Post by: Skgv on May 05, 2014, 04:16:54 PM We made the 5 seats by the skin of our teeth.
