Just noticed him in an article on Paxman and checked to see he was still with us. Knew he drifted out of public life after a major scandal, but couldn't remember what it was, fearing it was a pre Saville type event. Was actually quite surprised, pleased and amused even, that it was only taking Coke whilst seeing Top Drawer hookers in Mayfair. Seems almost rock and roll these days, and the sort of event to boost your career, not ruin it. How times change! The initial scandal was not just his cocaine habit, but because he had been wearing lingerie at parties.
