Title: According to the National Lottery website..
Post by: RED-DOG on May 06, 2014, 02:20:57 AM
The overall odds of winning a scratchcard prize are approximately 1 in 4.15.

Well I can't match that value, but perhaps those of you that can't be arsed to go to the newsagents might be interested in buying a bit of me in the UKIPT main event @ DTD.

I've been running good lately and I will be playing on Thursday regardless, (barring accidents) but I'm a conservative soul and and would rather spread the love than take a £1100 kick in the bollocks all on my Tod if things go tits up.

My Herbie mob is here  http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=3743   (This comp should have been in March. I was hotter than a two dollar pistol then, but I think I've past my peak)   8)

I'd like to shift a maximum of 50%. No Markup.

He who dares to invest £55 gets 5%.

He who dares to invest £110 gets 10%.  (Isn't 'invest' a great word? It implies you will get something back.)

This time next week, we could be Millionaires.

You can give me a couple of hours coaching if you like. Then we can round off your bill to £60

Listen, if you don't want to learn, fine, but nobody plays K-Q the way I do. Nobody.

Ha, brilliant.

Sorry, was assuming it was the new DTD system, where the reg fee is within the buy-in. My mistake, apologies.

Owe you £5.

We are having such a tough, grind our bollocks off day.

More details later but for now, we have 21k going in to level 8. Blinds 400/800.

Our exit hand. Blinds 400/800.

We make it 1900 from 16k in ep with KK. Cl calls, BB calls.

Flop 974 two spades. BB checks, we bet 4k.

Cl passes, BB asks how much we have back and sets us in from a ~ 70k stack.

We call. He has 74 and we get no help.

Sorry chaps. Thanks for the stake.

Yesterday I made quick notes on all the significant pots I played so that I could write them up for you today. Then, after I bust I drove part of the way to Barnsley because,  win or lose, I have planned to spend Friday at my mother's.

So at about 1am, I parked the camper up in a secluded spot on the outskirts of Sheffield, climbed into the back was asleep in seconds.

A heavy rain storm woke me at 7am, so I made a brew then sat up in bed with the curtains open, watching  the water streaming down the windows.

At about 8am the rain stopped instantly and completely. It was as if someone had turned the stop cock off. The sky, gray only moments ago is now a vast cloudless expanse of bright blue. How does that happen?

Even through the dark tinted glass, I can feel the heat from the sun on my bare shoulder. Instead of watching the rain I am now watching steam rising.

Oblivious to my presence behind the dark screen, two magpies, glossy and fit now that the breeding season is here, go about clearing away the last vestiges of their road-kill breakfast. It's a bit macabre, but beautiful all the same.

I start to write my report. Ep raises, I rr from the cut off with AK....

No. It's no use. I just can't bring myself to re hash a string of joyless flop stories on a gorgeous morning like this.

Those magpies have made me hungry. I'm off to Tesco's to buy some bacon.

There are no foods that cannot be improved by frying.
