Our image is pretty aggro - in reality we have just had it a lot of the time but not shown down much. Lost some chips and looked silly 6 hands previously calling down turn and river incorrectly against a different villain with 3rd pair.

Villain is playing 26/16/6.3 over 76 hands and hasn't got out of line.

I don't know why I just didn't go ahead and bet the turn as that looks best on reflection. Yes?

Once he checks the turn back and fires the blank river... makes me want to call. This the right sort of spot to hero? Not sure what value hands he can bet now that don't bet the turn.

I think barrelling the turn here is a good idea. The King is a great scare card, and will improve our hand a lot of the time. Given that we have the Ad too I like it even more.

As played I think you have to c/f the river now. When he checks back the turn it is clear that he has some kind of hand, any hands that he is stone floating with on the flop are likely to bluff the turn after you check.

Therefore if he is checking back the turn he must have showdown value. When you check the river and he bets he can value bet quite wide, but with his sizing is it much more likely that he checked back the river with a made flush.

Without reads it's a pretty easy fold imo.

But I may be wrong :P

Ash.

TT/JJ/QQ/Kx. I just dont think he has a flush much. We dont really either but I don't think he will care.

Villain is 26/13. Albeit over a small sample he is probably peeling tons of shit which means he can have all the suited connectors. I prefer calling because I reckon he doesn't bet a 9 too often and has a few missed draws in his range.

With the Ad in our hand I much prefer raising the river rather than calling.
