Hello fellow Blonde Poker friends.


You may or may not know me, but for those of you unsure, my name is Liam Batey and I've been a member of blonde for over 4 years now and I am heading out to Vegas for 4 weeks on June 19th till July 17th.

This will be my second Vegas trip after an amazing trip last year where I shipped a Rio Deep-Stack for $35,000 within the first week of the 6 week trip which set me up brilliantly. Due to the big tournament win early on, I just concentrated mostly on playing cash for the rest of the trip after finding a nice 2-5 game at the wynn and sold on here for the Main Event unfortunately my run ending on day 2.

This year I have decided to give the main event a miss and concentrate my schedule on the many side events happening during the WSOP.


I have had a brilliant start to 2014 in tournaments and having day 1 chip leads in more than half the tournaments I've played in 2014 is pretty insane.

My results since Feb 2014:

27th place in the £1k UKPC for £4,250

4th place in the March £500 DTD Deepstack for £10,000

3rd place in £250 DTD 6 Max for £4,250

17th place in the April £500 DTD Deepstack for £1,700

1st place in £250 DTD 8 Max for £8,250

Hopefully the results above can continue and I can have another really profitable summer in Vegas.


If you choose to invest in myself, you can rest assured that I will dedicate 100% of myself to doing the best I can in each and every tournament I play. I don't drink and don't really go out partying so don't worry that I will be out drinking all night and be turning up with hangovers on these early starts or late regging anything. I will be there bright and early and hungry to do well.

I've been involved in high level sport from a very young age and its been drummed into me to give 100% in everything I do, and with you guys behind me, I will try even harder.

I have included a modest mark-up varying individually for each tournament due to field size/potential payouts/skill level ect... to cover my travel and accommodation expenses. With me being the first to post on here I guess I am setting the bar for this years mark up discussions and for people to under cut me. However, hopefully you have faith in me to invest :)


PAYMENTS:



I will require payments before I head out to Vegas via bank transfer or cash, going to try to minimise cash in Vegas by doing the thread early because Vegas can be a big place and we may not see each other and my schedule begins on day 2 of the trip, and don't want the hassle of trying to meet up with people.

If I can receive funds before June 16th that would be brill :)


CLAUSES:



If for any reason I do not play any of the below events due to illness, plans change ect ect I will let you guys know asap and give you refunds - There will more than likely be refunds if I make day 2 earlier in the Venetian Main Event and if I make Golden Nugget Day 2.

I will keep tournament receipt's for an audit trail if needed.


TOURNAMENTS:



I plan to sell 30% of my action in the following tournaments and keep 70% of my action as I am feeling pretty confident on the back of the last few months heat. I will be playing the whole schedule regardless of selling out or not and I will be playing cash and some other small fun tournaments like the daily deepstacks, Wynn 500's and the WPT at Aria however I wont be selling any action for these.

I have planned my 4 weeks so I get adequate rest inbetween comps.



Friday 20th June - Venetian deep-stack $400k gtd -  DAY 1B $1,600 @ 1.24

Sunday 22nd June - WSOP Event 45 - $1,000 @ 1.29

Tuesday 24th June - Venetian Deep-Stack $400k gtd - DAY 1C - $1,100 @ 1.28

Thursday 26th June - WSOP Event 51 (15k stack) $1,500 @ 1.28

Sunday 29th June - WSOP Event 56 - $1,000 @ 1.29

Wednesday 3rd July - Golden Nugget Main Event - $1,100 @ 1.28

Thursday 4th July - Venetian Deep-Stack $400k GTD - $1,600 @ 1.24 (CLASHES WITH GOLDEN NUGGET DAY 2, so wont play Venetian if I make day 2 of the Golden Nugget)

Tuesday 8th July - Venetian Main Event $800k GTD - $1,100 day 1A Plus 1 Bullet For DAY 1B and 1C (if needed) total $3,300 max @ 1.28

Saturday 12th July - WYNN Classic Main Event $1,600 @ 1.24


Total Package - $13,800

Total Package after Mark Up - $17,507 at todays exchange rate 1.6889 = £10,375

Exchange rate locked in at 1.6873 for initial stake - and I will pay back any returns at this exchange rate upto the original stake total. Any profit will then be at rate of exchange when I come home and change my dollars up.

I will of course use the powers that be within blonde to find the best place to change these up and provide receipts for clarity.  


10% = £1,037.50

5% = £518.75

1% = £103.75
