IMO clubs both sides of the Atlantic now should employ finical professionals to protect their players.  Wages in the top sports have rocketed.  You give someone in their late teens/early twenties those sums of money, bearing in mind these days the those who command such high fees are put in a bubble from an incredibly young age and never told no, of course people will take advantage of them and of course they won't know the value of the money or the fact it can all end abruptly.
