No problem I only charge 15% vig on all holding transactions as well. Pretty reasonable! Title: Re: vegas dollars, no vig Post by: Redbull on June 21, 2014, 03:14:15 AM :)
Title: Re: vegas dollars, no vig Post by: Simon Galloway on June 21, 2014, 09:53:55 AM Sad that you have to stipulate that rule ~ entirely reasonable of course, but just goes to show how much fuzzy logic is out there if someone would take those off you at spot and then juice you next time in return.
An indictment on the quantitative nature of the +EV brigade. An indictment on the quantitative nature of the +EV brigade. Yeh happened to 3 friends last year so decided to include it. For transparency, we did 10.5k in the end and btb holds onto it. Nick already sent and callus should have picked up. No comment on the rumors that me Stato, Alex and Fred took it out to the strip and have spun it Title: Re: vegas dollars, no vig Post by: Marky147 on June 21, 2014, 09:20:58 PM Sad that you have to stipulate that rule ~ entirely reasonable of course, but just goes to show how much fuzzy logic is out there if someone would take those off you at spot and then juice you next time in return. An indictment on the quantitative nature of the +EV brigade. Nothing wrong with making +EV decisions, think you may be talking individuals and not a brigade. Just read yesterday that the hero of a previous thread is selling the main at 2.0 and is "better value than anyone selling at 1.4". Having read his twitter feed, I would like to apologise for defending said hero in the past. I was clearly mistaken. It is certainly more widespread than a few individuals, how many of them it takes to make a crew / society / brigade... who knows. But they seem incapable of understanding when to drop the ev calcs in favour of just doing the right thing at the right time. If it's personal and we're pals then we do each other favors if we can.
Simples. If it's business one way, and pals the other then we're gonna have a problem. |
