On the turn there are so many draws that check back. River, I was scared to make a mistake so decided to put him in, figured I can have spades too. Felt somewhat uncomfortable though obviously.

Post by: SuuPRlim on July 01, 2014, 09:01:51 AM I worry we're opening ourselves up to get properly owned by betting the turn, given that its weird for us to have AAA and slightly odd for us to have TTT or 777. It's also odd for us to have A7 doing this so we might level ourselves here (assume we're folding to a jam?)
I think we're playing guessing games on the river, we sort of trying to rep different things on the turn and river and his range can have spades as much as ours can. If he has Aces up with the As then I think he'll call pretty comfortably, and it does seem likely he has an ace after the turn call. I think generally speaking I don't like going out of rhythm on a street where the immediate nature of the board hasn't changed. We do protect our hand vs the random stuff but idk when we have an Ace 2pair how much there is to protect against Title: Re: Weird turn/River spot, 530 Omaha. I would have called off the turn vs a jam, with his flop size, he felt kinda polarised. I was pretty uncomfortable on the turn/river so feel free to lay into me, it wouldn't surprise me to see you hated a decent part of the hand, although I really liked the turn in the moment it might not be great now. Funny how a lot of the hands I'm posting atm have a donk in them somewhere. |
