I've been looking a little while and i can't see many hands he can really call with, so i think it works great as a bluff vs AA/AK and other stuff. We have the blocker to KK and KQ, though the latter is hardly loving life either because we can have just about anything here.

Title: Re: nobody bluffs 530 rivers Post by: willrobrobu on July 07, 2014, 06:24:18 AM looks like a good play not that I would ever do it! he might even fold TT here. AK or AA most likely given his comment though
Title: Re: nobody bluffs 530 rivers Post by: Junior Senior on July 07, 2014, 06:45:51 PM Gets him off AK i suppose and AA and maybe TT. So you are saying we fold out his entire 3bet range except AJ and KK.
I dunno, it seems a bit too creative for the games. I play but in the 530 you find people will fold more Title: Re: nobody bluffs 530 rivers Post by: muckthenuts on July 07, 2014, 06:52:53 PM Villain unlikely to have TT too given preflop action.

Haha thinking the same. 2 pair fold, 1 pair shove. Never much cared for chicks with dicks either. Title: Re: nobody bluffs 530 rivers Post by: AlexMartin on July 13, 2014, 07:53:13 PM Villain unlikely to have TT too given preflop action. doubt TT should be discounted esp v a min and probably i imagine pads is much wider than normal. Its an interesting hand, not entirely sure how we would ever take this line for value or ever have the nuts or anywhere near it especially given his turn sizing. So he has the 1 KK set combo, call it 1.5 TT as most villains are gonna flat at least some %. QQ should checkback turn a lot especially as most villains will realise they are only getting true value from straight draws on the turn, we can give him .5 of a combo for arguments sake. So otr we can probably foldout the 6 combos of AA, the other 6 combos of AK and get called by the 3 sets combos and the 12 AJ combos. Obviously we also foldout all the bluffs and dont get gauranteed folds from ak or AA. The chances of him playing all AJ's this way is also unlikely. Im gonna go with folding out 8 combos of better hands, getting called by 9 and never being bluffed. Im not a fan of this one pads, what was your reasoning. I swear it wasn't that long ago you were toying with open folding AKo UTG pre antes.... I swear it wasn't that long ago you were toying with open folding AKo UTG pre antes.... That was 300+ deep and I still think is correct. A hand with 80bbs is way different.
