Title: $3 6 Max Post by: Flash92 on July 15, 2014, 07:41:55 PM http://www.boomplayer.com/en/poker-hands/Boom/9873073_572197CCC3
Looking for thoughts on pre here. Guy has just moved to the table, limper is fish (38/14). Is a flat here profitable? Prefer a 3B? If so size and plan? Thanks. Seeing a flop here.

Title: Re: $3 6 Max Post by: willrobrobu on July 16, 2014, 06:23:49 AM I'd always flat vs this sizing, will 3b occasionally vs a 2-3x raise. but still flat most ofthe time at this stage in the game
Title: Re: $3 6 Max Post by: Flash92 on July 16, 2014, 03:09:53 PM Thanks guys. I think I am just doubting every single decision I'm making at the moment with the luck I am having. Getting consistently coolered/sucked-out/lots of folding and c/folding.

Getting consistently coolered/sucked-out/lots of folding and c/folding. in answer to yr question is flatting 99 profitable here... just look at the villiains - TT bluffing off his whole stack with two overs in a 3 way pot, and A9o calling off his whole stack with top pair shite kicker 1000000% definitely a profitable setmine Title: Re: $3 6 Max Post by: Flash92 on July 16, 2014, 10:02:02 PM Questioning this sort of thing suggests you don't have the strongest knowledge of the maths behind the game, and perhaps taking some time off playing and spending some time studying this sort of thing might do you some good? You offering? ;) Title: Re: $3 6 Max Post by: Flash92 on July 16, 2014, 10:03:06 PM Questioning this sort of thing suggests you don't have the strongest knowledge of the maths behind the game, and perhaps taking some time off playing and spending some time studying this sort of thing might do you some good? I'm also more looking for advise on the thought of 3 betting pre rather than should I be folding pre. I'm also more looking for advise on the thought of 3 betting pre rather than should I be folding pre. In this particular spot? I'd want a reason to 3 bet here, and I'd be doing it for value with the intention of calling off if that was the case. I just don't see a reason to deviate from the standard mathematically correct decision here, without a specific read on the raiser.
